So I've been looking EVERYWHERE for a venue to let you stay a little later because I am Mexican/American and we like to throw big party like weddings (: lol but I've noticed most venues want you to end at 10 what time did your reception end? I just feel like 10 is early

Ours is ending at 10pm as well. Most towns where I'm getting married (wine country) have set an ordinance you can't get around if the reception is outdoors. Since it will be a long day we've decided to not worry about the early end time and have a post party for the "cool kids" after the main reception. We are renting a vacation house for the bridal party and ourselves which is huge. It's an old Victorian farmhouse nestled off the road on 20 acres alongside vineyards. It has more than enough space for the 40 or so people who might want to keep the night rolling. We found a place with a pool and hot tub and other things out guests might like. If we really want to party there a small town just a few minutes away that has a fun upscale bar we could hit up before going to the rental which has a bocce court on the patio. The important thing to remember if you're doing this is transportation...I'm in education so we are having a rental school bus take us from the reception to whatever afterwards lol!!!
