Ceremony starts at 3pm. The venue let us choose, but since we're having a Sunday wedding, we figured an afternoon wedding would work for most people. 😀
Our venue is a little different ... we have the venue from 3pm - 11:00pm - we are doing a welcome cocktail hour + before the ceremony, ceremony starts at 5:00 then right into reception.
5:00 on a Friday. We wanted to have it later since it's a Friday, we wanted to give our local guests time to get out of work and get there. 5:00 was one of the latest times that the venue would start the ceremony.
Evening! 5:30pm on a Saturday. This was the only option for our venue. Our ceremony is outdoors at a city owned garden, but the reception site is a backup in case it rains. But, if it rains we can't use the indoor venue until 5:30pm because they have a shop open up to the public until then. I wish it could have been earlier, but that's ok!
Mine starts at 2pm in the afternoon and I can't wait until May 26 2018

Our ceremony starts at 6:30 on a Friday. Mostly chosen by the venue but I'm not sure I'd do it any earlier on a Friday anyway. I want people to have enough time to get there if they have to work that day
4pm on a Saturday, the venue at first gave us 3pm but I thought that was too early so they changed it. We’re ending at 11pm but they’re giving us an hour grace period in case we run over
