Morning? Afternoon? Evening? What time will your wedding ceremony start? Did you choose the time or was it set by your venue? Photo from Jackie & Derek's wedding, by Rebecca Yale Photography

3 pm on a saturday, it's on a golf course so we chose it a little later in the day when it's not peak golf time.

Our ceremony starts at 4pm and reception goes on until 10pm! We chose to end it at 10 due to the city noise ordinance.

4:00 pm i chose the time I wanted a time where i didn’t want to feel like getting rush in the morning and I wanted something that wasn’t to late in the evening for our guests with children so I chose 4:00 it’s right in the afternoon time. We are getting married at a Local Park.

We’re at 10 am on Saturday. There’s another wedding in the evening that begins at 4, so we have to be done by 2. We are planning an after party (and an afternoon nap lol)

We're having our ceremony at 6. Our venue let us choose, and I didn't really want to go any earlier than that, since it's a Friday night.

I'll be getting up by 8 or 9 to get ready, so I couldn't imagine having it earlier and having to get up even earlier. I am not a morning person, lol.

3 or 3:30 on a Friday. I haven't fully committed to a specific time yet. We're setting it. We have the venue from 8 AM - midnight so I'm just picking a time where we have plenty of time to get ready but will still have time to clean up afterwards.

Mine is similar....we are having a picnic luncheon at 1 before the 4 o'clock ceremony....then dinner and reception all night until 10 pm. All at the same location!

The ceremony starts at 3:30, and we chose the time, partially because we know our grandparents would like to eat around 5, and it seemed like a good time frame for things. Our ceremony and reception is in one place too.

We looked at one venue who told us we'd be having our ceremony at 6 and we were immediately put off by that. There were a lot of other reasons we decided not to go with that venue.

Our ceremony starts at 2:30pm, but guests are coming for 2pm because we have a quintet playing special music

Our ceremony starts at 6. We had to do this later than most as we are using a public zoo that is operating business as usual, and have to wait for it to be cleaned and setup before we can use it.

4:30 on a Saturday afternoon. We picked the time. We wanted the minute hand to be moving upwards as we exchanged vows and with cocktail hour starting at 5, it totally makes sense and gives us 5 hours of total reception time to be done by 10.

We're starting at 5 p.m. but asking for everyone to be there at 4:45 on the invitations. We're using a local park, so the time didn't matter to them.

5 pm on a Saturday! We had a choice of 4:30 and 5, and FH thought that 4:30 sounded too early.

11am on a Saturday. FH wanted it earlier but I need (yes need) to have my hair and makeup done, not a lot of salons open at 8.
