Morning? Afternoon? Evening? What time will your wedding ceremony start? Did you choose the time or was it set by your venue? Photo from Jackie & Derek's wedding, by Rebecca Yale Photography

The start time for my ceromony is 5pm and it was set by the venue. It works out nicely because they set the time where no one would be up on the mountain wlaking aroud.

We chose to do ours at 4:00 pm on a Friday. Our venue is only open until 10, unless we pay another $100/hour to keep it open, so we wanted to have the ceremony early enough that guests will have plenty of time for eating and partying.

Our ceremony was at noon, it was the latest our church offered and I wanted to avoid "the Catholic gap"

We chose 3pm on a Saturday. We are getting married at our church and they left it up to us to choose a time. Our reception is at 6 at my parents farm, which is about 30 minutes from the church, but we are doing pictures in between.

Ours starts at 4pm and we chose it ourselves. We have the cenue from 8am to 11pm but we chose to start then to give us time to get everything ready at the venue since its a bit far from where we live

4-430pm on a Sunday. This was the earliest our ceremony site could start because the venue is open to the public before that (art gallery).

4:30 because we wanted an evening reception. We have the ceremony venue all day though, so the groomsmen will likely hang out there.

We’re thinking between 2 and 3. That way we can serve appetizers its cheaper than the whole meal and we also don’t want to wait all day to start the wedding😊
