What to do after wedding ceremony?

Bianca, on April 19, 2019 at 2:30 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 4
Hi ladies! I’m getting married on the beach and having a small ceremony, and I was wondering what do I do after the ceremony? Do I keep my dress on and go out to eat? I want a little venue for afterwards but my boyfriend doesn’t, I need advice!!

You should provide some kind of meal for your guests, whether that's at a separate venue or you just go to a restaurant is totally up to you!

Hey Bianca, welcome to WW! Typically the bride and groom host a wedding reception for all of their guests after their wedding ceremony. However, if you and your FH are eloping (no guests), then you can do what ever y'all want to! Hope that helps a little. Smiley shame

My sister has a ceremony on the beach with about 40 guest. We made reservations at a restaurant and shs and her husband hosted the guests. She had a wedding cake delivered to the restaurant. It was really nice. If you're inviting guess you should hosts a reception after the ceremony.

My fiance and I are having a small family dinner with just our parents, our siblings, and their families. It's pretty much going to be a family supper in lieu of a formal reception. We're having a private ceremony with just us beforehand. Smiley smile
