What to do to slim down my stomach before the wedding?

Danielle, on March 9, 2018 at 11:27 AM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 15
If any of you ladies have any ideas on how to slim the tummy down it would be amazing to hear them. I work with infants all day and I'm worn out by the time I get home. So any ideas would be great. Thank you.

I do a lot of home workouts when I can't get to the gym due to getting home late. I alternate between legs/butt and core. Core will definitely help tone the muscles, but the only way to slim down the fat on your stomach is proper diet!

Google at home core workouts, with or without equipment and you'll find a gold mine.

"abs are made in the kitchen" It really comes down to diet. You don't want to eat foods/drinks that bloat you. Fried food, gum, processed sugars, soda, any carbonation, alcohol. And then cardio. There's no special magic.

This will sound nasty but it does work. Besides doing regular exercise - Ab workouts, sit ups, crunches, etc., taking a shot of apple cider vinegar creates prevents bloating (which has always been my problem). It's a disgusting taste but I do it once in the morning, and I swear, my stomach looks so flat. Try it!

I've cut soda out of my diet completely and replaced it with water. I also am staying away from fast food.

'Spot' fat reduction is almost impossible. When you lose weight there's really no way to control where it comes off. The best way to increase your chances of shrinking your stomach is to change your lifestyle to include healthy eating and regular exercise. There are things you can do to reduce the amount of bloating you experience - drink a ton of water, watch your salt intake, low canb/dairy intake, stop drinnking alcohol, cut out processed foods and sugars, etc.

70% of weight loss comes from a healthy diet. Eating clean and exercising at least 30 minutes a day, 5-6 days out of the week will help a lot.

A good mix of cardio/weight lifting has really helped me slim down!

I agree the apple cider vinegar but I mix with 1/2 cup of orange juice for the taste lol. Cut down on the breads and pastas, more veggies eggs with bell peppers and tomatoes in the morning, a sandwich on whole wheat bread 2 times a week, burrito bowls with ground turkey corn black bean and brown rice is good, meal prep 2 salads a week, make snack packs of carrots and hummus or the pretzel chips but unfortunately cardio helps lose the tummy even a 25 minute walk during lunch

If you are too tired to work out in the evenings after work, you could get up early and hit the gym before work. It's hard getting up that early but then once you are home from work, you are done for the day!

Apple cider vinegar is so good for digestion! i don't even mind the taste anymore. i do a lot of core strengthening as part of my yoga and Pilates practices--Pilates is particularly great for targeting your core, and i always shout out Blogilates on Youtube, she does amazing and intense workouts some of which are super short yet super effective.

Drinking lots of water and cutting back on gassy foods, sugars, etc. will help keep bloating down. I've recently starting working out and I'm realizing how much of my "belly fat" is actually bloating. I have endometriosis which makes managing that almost impossible, but I've been losing a little bit of weight which helps overall.

I love the Jillian Michaels Bodyshred workouts if you are interested in DVD/home workouts. They are 30 minutes and are a KILLER. I started noticing results around my arms/back/rib cage after the first week. I think they are like $50 on Amazon.

Put it in tea and add honey. Make sure that it has the "mother" in it like Braggs. Also don't use hot hot water when you make your tea. It really does work if used regularly

Oh this definitely works!! I do it 3-4 times a week early morning on an empty stomach. I use it with 8oz water or green tea with a tsp of lemon juice. I use a little bit of Stevia in the Raw to help with taste. It tastes better warm than room temperature. It will shrink your belly along with a healthy diet.

OP- also walking will help with weight loss.
