What to do uneven bridal party

CountryBride, on October 27, 2020 at 2:03 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 12

So I was brain storming on who we should have in our bridal Party, i never asked anyone yet. at the time we were going to ad my 2 cousins but due to a fall out with my cousins they mentally abusive and bring negativity and drama I don't want that for my wedding, so they are not even invited,

here is what we have

my sister as maid of honor

my 2 best friends and bridesmaids

my daughter who will be 13 as a bridesmaid

my 8 year old daughter Junior Bridesmaid

my 4,2 year old daughter as flower girls

My Fiancé got excited and asked his groomsmen here is his side

his younger brother best man

his best friend groomsmen

his best friend groomsmen

his cousin groomsmen

our 15 year old son groomsmen

our 10 year old son jr groomsmen

our 7 year old son ring bear

our 5 year old son as a ring bear

our 1 year old will be a ring bear too

so as you can see we have too many groomsmen and I don't want to add another women just for even sides, I want it to be even. they will be going down the aisle together as it's a family tradition, what can I do to even the sides or make it look even? my fiancé was very apologetic and said maybe he can have one of his friends be a usher? any advice

thank you

Could you possibly have your 4 year old be a bridesmaid as well, and just have one flower girl?

I have been to several weddings where the groom and best man walked down the aisle together. If you did that, you would then have even bridesmaids and groomsmen.

My friend who just got married in June had a bridesmaid bail on her on the day of the wedding (I would of lost it)! What she did was have 1 groomsman walk with 2 bridesmaids.

I was thinking have one bridesmaid walk with two groomsmen. I’m doing that, I’m also haveing my 7 year old son be a jr groomsmen. You could do that. So if you make your 4 year old a junior bridesmaid and she can walk with the 7 year old son. I hope that makes sense bc I just got confused for a sec lol

Good question! There are several choices- either the best man walks alone, the final groomsman walks alone, the last bridesmaid is escorted by two groomsmen, or the entire wedding party walks alone during the recessional

We’re having uneven sides as well. I’ll be having a party of 8 and he’ll be having a party of 5. I’m also having my guy best friend standing on my side and he will escort the other two bridesmaids that we don’t pair with a groomsmen. Honestly it’s your day! Whatever makes y’all happy it’s no one else’s business! My FH didn’t want to ask just anyone so we just left it at that 🙂🤗

We have 4 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. I think we're gonna have them just walk in individually. Have their moment to shine lol
