I’m not going to have welcome bags but you can maybe put tissues to wipe tears if any, personalized candy with your names or wedding date on them, keychains, rose petals to throw at you guys once it’s over?

Welcome bags for the hotel your guests are staying?

Bottled water Individual packets of:AspirinTums/some kind of antacidA snack of some kind (small bag of chips/pretzels)Small bottle of hand sanitizer/sanitizing wipesMints
If it's a destination wedding or one with an extended stay, including a printed list of things to do or restaurants to try while in the area is a nice addition.

I would include a water bottle or two, some kind of snack (maybe a "his favorite" and "her favorite"?), a mini first aid kit, hand sanitizer, a welcome note from you and your fiance, a map of the area, and maybe coupons for things to do in the area (restaurants, wineries/breweries, mini golf, etc)? I don't think you need to include a lot of things, but anything that you'd find helpful as a traveling guest would be a good idea to include. The trial/travel section at a major grocery store would be a good place to find some things for cheap.

Definitely a water bottle and snacks. People always appreciate something on the healthier end, so a bag of peanuts or trail mix is a good option. Something sweet like chocolate is also good to add. Advil, Band-Aids, and other first aid supplies is also useful. A printed list of the weekend schedule/locations is also good to include. I would avoid spending money on something personal in it that isn't consumable and that they would just throw away.

If you have anything that you can only find in your area, something like that would be good. For example, here in Chicago, one of our signature treats is a mix of cheese and caramel corn from a store called Garrett's, so my mother-in-law got miniature bags of it and put those in the gift bags. I believe she also included tissues, and as we're still in a Covid era, albeit not as bad as it used to be, she had hand sanitizer in there as well. I think she also had little bottles of water and maybe a bag of chips or cracker, along with a nice little note thanking those who'd traveled out for coming.

We're putting mini water bottles, tylenol/ibuprofin, bandaids, makeup remover wipes (the single pack), we're thinking about pre-packaged philly soft pretzels, but we don't know how they'd hold up for a day or two in the bags, we want something local. I'm making these "newspapers" that have a pic of us and a thank you as the headline article, on the inside it has wedding day details (wedding party, timeline of events for both ceremony and reception, shuttle information, the "dates" from our relationship (first met, first date, first trip together, first home toghether, engagement), some "fun" tidbits/activities (random numbers from planning - dresses i tried on, venues toured, etc; guess who will kiss first; "who wore it better" aka did you like the brides dress better or the grooms tux; a map with all the states our guests live in highlighted, and a wordsearch). They were really simple for me to make (I made newsletters regularly for my last job) and they'll be pretty cheap to print. We might buy koozies or something else to put in there too.

When it comes to a welcome bag I think a few non alcoholic beverages (water, seltzer juice) and some snacks is always appreciated, a bulk warehouse such as Costco is a good place peruse for some ideas. A nice welcome/thank you for coming letter, an itinerary for the wedding day esp if there is any need to know guest info such as shuttle times/pick up spots, a short list of some nearby places to eat or grab a coffee from. You can also add some extras such as Advil, tums, chapstick, hand lotion/sanitzer, sunscreen, something cute that either ties into the place you are getting married or the couple getting married.

I'm doing local snacks like potato chips, pretzels, and soda. I'm also adding water bottles, a list of things to do/welcome card, and nut free granola bars.

I would do water bottle, Kleenex, hand sanitizer, lip balm, little candies, maybe little bottle of liquor if your guests drink, hand cleaning wipes, maybe snacks like pretzels, trail mix, granola bars.
