What to put in welcome bags

What can I put in guest welcome bags that isn't junk but doesn't cost a ton? I'm having a destination wedding so I do want to give my guests some good stuff for traveling to be part of our day, but I can't spend $1000 on them either. I need to do about 25. Any ideas appreciated!!

Didn't do them. Our venue charged $3 a piece, to deliver to the rooms. Most guests only stayed one night. I had gotten one before, and most of the stuff was wasted - I didn't need it/use it, and tossed it, before packing my suitcase.

Bottle of water, small travel size sun block, and those mosquito repellent wrist bands, and a map of the area. You can get those items in bulk through amazing, the water from BJ's or Costco and maps can be gotten from the hotel concierge.

I do a lot of Puerto Rico Destination weddings and I've been asked before this very same question and this is the answer I always give them...

    Good luck!

Didn't do this for my wedding, IMO it's a waste of money. If your really set on doing it, snacks like chips or granola bars, and maybe a bottle of water would be good in them.
