What to wear

I think it depends on the vide you are going for. If you want a winter vibe then a fur shawl/wrap would be perfect. If you want more of a rustic vibe then a jean jacket would be perfect. Personally, I love leather jackets so that's probably what I would pair with it. But it all depends on what style you want.

If you're looking for a more "old-fashioned" feel, you could have your FH in shirtsleeves and wear a sports coat/suit jacket (like he gave you his)

It was pretty chilly during our engagement photos, but I really loved the dresses I had picked out. I decided not to wear a jacket or wrap so it it not take away from my dresses. Honestly, it is not a very long time, I would do without. You could also leave a coat close by to put on between locations.

A fur shawl like suggested in the pp would be very pretty! You could also do a cream colored pashmina scarf to drape around you! A neutral colored blanket is also an idea, and can be used as a prop for some photos (a cuddle picture with the blanket draped around you both). Meghan also makes a great point, you can always keep whatever item you choose close by and take some with and without! That way you have some photos with the dress as is, and some with the outerwear.
