What type of adhesive for glass and ribbon?? Help please.

I need advice on types and preferably specific brands of glue/adhesive to attach diamond mesh ribbon to glass vases. I got extra strength adhesive dots and put a line of them along the edges of the ribbon but it didn't want to stay on the glass, the ribbon was just too heavy. Do I just need to use...

I need advice on types and preferably specific brands of glue/adhesive to attach diamond mesh ribbon to glass vases. I got extra strength adhesive dots and put a line of them along the edges of the ribbon but it didn't want to stay on the glass, the ribbon was just too heavy. Do I just need to use more of the dots? Should I get a liquid adhesive? Hot glue? I do not want these falling apart while sitting on my tables.

    Im using hot glue gun and when it dries it lifts up and off, so frustratex !

    I just tried double sided tape and gorilla glue...nothing works !!!!!

    Use hot glue. That way you can peel the ribbon right off the glass glue and all.

    Glad I found this thread. I am making my own centerpieces as well with stacked fishbowl like vases. I am putting the diamond mesh ribbon around the bottom of each section and since it won't be visible I think I'm going to use hot glue.

    E6000 is the best glue to use for a really good hold. I would use a little hot glue and the e6000 as it will give an immediate hold and a lasting hold
