What type of bustle are you having.

So my dress came into the store and I went to try it on last week and it got me to thinking about what type of bustle I want. Here is a photo of the dress and the bustle I want on a similar dress. So ladies, what type of dress do you have and what type of bustle are you going with?

I originally was super anti-bustle but the seamstress told me that because I had so much extra fabric and she'd already cut it with a train that it would be cheaper to put in a bustle as opposed to removing the whole train. So I will have a train for some pictures but have my dress bustled for the majority of the day.

It's just a really simple one point bustle, it loops around one of the top bottons of my dress and hides behind the sash.

I have a lace A-line and am doing an American bustle. My seamstress recommended doing it in two separate layers, so the under satin layer will be an American Bustle and then the lace overlay will have it's own American Bustle overtop. I love it because it keeps the A-line shape of the dress and the lace looks really pretty bustled on it's own.

Mine is an English bustle. The way my dress works, you almost can't tell it's bustled. I love that. Haha.

Ballroom under bustle. Our seamstress color codes everything so it's easy to do. Under bustles are supposed to be best for the dance floor because it's harder to accidentally undo.
