Morais Vineyard. Gorgeous and if we had unlimited budget we would have booked on the spot but it was way out of our budget.

We never actually visited a venue. We knew right from the beginning we couldn't afford a venue here, and that we would have to do something in Puerto rico where most of his family is from. Since we are having a destination wedding, we wont get to see our venue until we get married ( a little nerve wracking but i just tell myself its going to be okay as long as i get to marry my best friend).

The willow tree, it’s also the only one. When I was growing up before my grandpa passed away. He always said he wanted to tour the house one day. He never got the chance. Now they made it into a wedding venue. We thought it was a great way to have him there

The first venue we looked at was a chapel! I knew I wanted it right away but FH made us look at more venues so we could be certain that we wanted this venue 100%. In the end, we did book the chapel and then booked our reception at a banquet hall that's about a 5 minute walk from the ceremony location!

Timber Ridge Event Center. It was our dream venue. we visited 2 more after then booked that one. got a call a week later that they had accidently double booked us so we got our deposit back and went with somewhere else. it ended up being a lot more affordable in the long run though

The first venue that we visited ended up being the venue that we booked: The Ospreys at Belmont Bay in Woodbridge, VA. Always thought I would end up having it in Arlington or Washington D.C., but I'm so happy with my choice and it was definitely cheaper to go further south out of D.C.!

I looked at Old Lantern in Charlotte but it was going to cost $5,200 so we ended up choosing The Eagles Club

Our first venue was Alta Lodge. It was beautiful and we really loved it but there was an exclusive event the night after or wedding so all of our guests would have had to move to a different hotel. I didn't want to make everyone move so we ended up going with a different venue.

Dewolf Tavern in Bristol, RI. It was beautiful and right on the ocean but the indoor pace was too small and the dance floor would have been non existent and if we chose the outdoor space then all of our guests would have to sit at their tables during our vows, a big no for us. We had to move on, but I love our venue now.

The first venue we visited was delta saloon in virginia city, Nv. We ended up booking that venue. It's an old saloon built in 1875. Its absolutely beautiful. So beautiful that we aren't doing any decorations and letting the historical building speak for itself.

The first venue we visited was the Saphire Estate in Sharon, MA. It was nice, but not our style. We ended up booking their sister venue a few weeks later!

I wanted a Historic Spanish / Old Florida feel so originally we wanted to go with The South Florida Museum. Unfortunately they were planning long term renovations and wouldn't book, so we had to abandon. I am not even sure if they still have The Spanish Plaza, which is where we wanted:

After that we looked at a few different venues, which left me feeling very "eh" and THEN we found our real venue:

    The Fenway Hotel

...and I am so excited! Smiley heart

My dad insisted we look at the Golf Country Club near their home, even though I already knew we'd hate it since we are not "Country Club" kind of people; not to mention we hate golf lol why the heck would we want a golf course in our wedding photos?? We reluctantly went though to make him happy; no surprise, we hated it! He even admitted afterwards that it was def not the right venue for us.

The 2nd, and only other venue we toured, is the one we booked. It was love at first sight Smiley love
