What was your first impression of your future spouse?

He kinda scared me. had a "tough" look on his face. but deff nice to look at! haha.. turned out to be the biggest sweetheart!

I'd have to go with love...our relationship started by my friend giving me his number and I texted him saying it was his secret admire. Lol actually at first it was just suppose to be a "hook up" and then it turned into a relationship and now we're getting married in a year it's amazing how a relationship can start!

We met at work... FH would walk by to and from his boss' cubicle which was just past mine. Every day, trudging by, head down. I thought he was cute, but he looked like the weight of the world was on his shoulders. I remember thinking that he needed a pick me up. I guess I did that on that first Halloween I worked for the company! LOL.. (if you don't know the story, I had been told that people dress up for Halloween so I dressed in my wench outfit, adjusted to make it more appropriate for work. Of course, nobody was dressed up, and I stood out enough that he trudged by and stopped with a grin on his face. LOL)

First time i saw him was my freshman year of high school. I was so attracted to him! Went on a couple of dates but went our separate ways, 5 years later we reconnected and have been in love ever since.

I thought he was absurdly beautiful, mysterious, and way too effortlessly cool to ever want to talk to my awkward self.

When we first met in person for our first date (we were set up by a mutual friend and only chatted on facebook), he seemed incredibly nervous, which made me go out of my comfort zone and be the outgoing one and totally take charge on our first date. My first thought of him physically, that he was way too in shape to ever be interested in me other than just being drinking buddies (past experiences dating 'constantly working out guys' that picked me apart for my less than constant workout habits) so I put him in that box and didn't really think much more of it until a month later, after several casual happy hour dates, when he kissed me for the first time. That blew him right out of the buddy box. I never looked back after that.

Cooties! (fourth grade)

My husband is cousins with my sisters ex boyfriend. His cousin was a horrible boyfriend to my sister and was a complete thug. I was fb friends with his cousin still years after he and my sister broke up. One day I commented on his page, and my husband sent me a private message asking who I was and how I knew his cousin. Well, at first I thought he was a player that was just trying to flirt. He actually just had normal conversation with me about normal stuff and after about a month, I met up with him for dinner. It took me about three hours to fall completely in love with him. He was such a gentleman and sweet as hell! He is completely opposite of his cousin too BTW.

It was in the 10th grade-Ms. Gelmini's class. I was introduced to the class since I transferred high schools. He had this little smirk on his face, it really bothered me. But, my first thought was, "Who is this kid?" and "He is cute. I think I could like him". Needless to say, I was smitten after our first encounter, but I am super shy, so he initiated everything.

God this guy is really drunk - but he's tall and has tattoo's i need his number!

FH, my BF (who I call my sister) & my mom all worked together at a high school. I'd seen him from time to time because I would sit in my mom's classes a few times a year, but I never paid him much attention. I had immediately ruled him out because while I thought his eyes were amazing, he wasn't much taller than me and that was always a deal breaker.

One day I went to the alumni vs teacher game during homecoming to see my sister play - he stole the ball from her and dribbled the wrong way down the court and over to where I was on the sideline to ask my why I was there. I told him I was there to see my sister. He yelled "SHE'S NOT REALLY YOUR SISTER!" In front of everyone...while still dribbling the ball because the game was still going on. I yelled back "NO SH*T" and pretended to trip him. He dribbled off and I was both annoyed & blushing at the same time. After that day, he asked me for my # 5 different times. He also asked my mom for my # and told my "sister" that he would buy her lunch everyday for rest of the school year if she would give him my #. After about 3 months of asking, gave him my #. It wasn't until then that I found out that he was begging my mom & sister for my number for over a year

The first time I met FH was at a party playing flip cup. He thought he was the best until I beat him. There was a lot of crap talk and he left before we could talk more. I thought he was cute so I tried to find him on facebook but he didn't show up. A month later my friend invited me to come out with her and some guys and he was there. i saw him across the parking lot and had this feeling in the pit of my stomach to not mess this up. We started talking that night and have been together almost 7 years.

I was a week shy of my 13th birthday when I met Jeremy. I was at a friends house when he came out of the neighbors house with an old friend of mine. The very first thing I ever said to him was "wow you have hairy legs!" Way to go 13 year old me. That turned into an awesome friendship where he taught me how to parallel park and reverse into a parking spot. Plus he was also my math tutor. And now after 12 years of friendship and almost 6 years together, we are getting MARRIED!!!!!

Geeky and adorable ... JUST MY TYPE!!

My first thoughts were that he didn't look anything like his profile picture (in a good way) and when I saw he had roses for me, that he was trying too hard.

I met DH through my BIL. When I first met him, I was engaged to my ex and he was dating someone. So there was no attraction to him at all. I remember his hair was really long (down to his ass) and all I could think was "Wow, this guy has nice hair". He was also very quiet, now I can't get him to shut up! LOL

We met through a mutual friend and were actually roommates first lol. So my first impression I guess was that he was cute but didn't ever think of things past that. After a yr or two of the feelings growing we finally talked and acted on them!

I went to a coworkers bday party and was not intending on staying long because i had other places to go, I ended up knowing a few more people than expected! ( including FH as we went to HS together and had English but we didn't talk) I then got to socializing and had a few drinks and shots and soon realized i wasn't able to leave i laid down on his couch and FH was laying there too. I took a cat nap and woke up and he was there i thought well he is cute than i remember! I then kissed him and we have been together ever since! I knew as soon as i kissed him i was done!
