What was your first impression of your future spouse?

We met on match.com, we had great phone chemistry. When I first saw him it was definitely love at first sight, that was 5 years ago.

We went to the same college. It's a really small science and engineering college, so you know most people by name at least, but I was a year above him so I didn't really know him. FH's name was often in emails that went out to the whole school because he often took part and did well in various mathematical modeling and programming competitions.

I took two years off between college and grad school to teach English in Japan, so when I got to grad school he happened to be a 2nd year living in the same graduate dorm as me, a dorm just about the same size as our college! We were introduced by one of his friends I met during orientation because of the college connection. I don't remember exactly what I thought about him from those first meetings, but I DO remember being disappointed that he had a girlfriend, so it couldn't have been hate

He definitely caught my eye bc he was soo cute!! He was working in the deli at the grocery store we both worked at and he sold me chicken fingers and fries. Haha. The rest is history!

I am two years older than FH, and the first time we met, he was 13 and I was 15 (grades 8 and 10; our hometown doesn't do middle school, so we were in highschool together). We lived only 2 blocks away from each other and the first thing he asked me was if he could carry my books. Me, being 15, and obviously too cool for him shot him down by saying "uhm...so I have a backpack...so..." and I walked off in the direction of my house. I was flattered but remember telling my friends "so this 13 year old kid asked to carry my books. Who does that?!?"

Poor thing. He made up for it by dating most of the girls in my grade. He got my attention then!

For me it was a hate relationship. We offically met in our classroom after Christmas break and we had to sit beside each other.

First impression: met online and i lived in michigan and FH lived in fl, he after 3 months talking on the phone he decided to drive to mi to meet me, i was nervous and scared he wouldnt like what he seen, but now 6yrs together and will be getting married 2017 i think it was love at first sight

First day of work, saw him walking with my ex boyfriend and thought he's cute but did nothing about it. then people at work told me he had a few kids and drama so i definitely wasn't interested. He asked me to get some wings with him and other coworkers but I always declined. then one day he came to me and said Listen I know I have kids and such but I just want to get something to eat and get to know you, nothing attached. well you see how that ended. lol

I've had a crush on FH since I was in 10th grade which was 2 years before I ever officially met him and 4 years before we started dating soooo I guess love? Lol. But puppy dog love.

Wow WOW WOW!! Dare I say this! when he picked me up I had X Rated thoughts, I know bad bad girl!! But when we got to the restaurant sat down and talked, all I can think was I'm going to marry this man! And when the hell will he kissed me!! We spent the whole time on our first date just talking, laughing, connecting, he was becoming my best friend!! He picked me up at 6pm and it just rained cats and dogs that night we just drove around town and talked made out at red lights until 4am give or take. Our second date was literally 7hours later. We've been inseparable since, moved in together 6wks later. He'd asked me to marry him a week after our first date. We fall in love more and more everyday.

I was neutral he was my best friends brother, five years older then me and way to into drinking and experimenting with drugs. I was too into horses to even look at him.

"Oh, dear, this girl in all black MIGHT be the one I agreed to go on a date with but I can't tell, she doesn't look like the picture at all, maybe I'll just... casually wander past... OH SHIT SHE'S HUGGING ME I AM BEING HUGGED"

Me: Ooooh! A cute, socially awkward grad student! I'm gonna tap that someday.

Him: Ooooh! A cute, socially forward freshman! She looks like she could be a minor...I'd better not pay any attention to her flirting and risk losing my assistantship!

To set the record straight, I was actually a junior at the time, but I have a baby face. We smiled and waved at each other for a whole year before he figured out that I wasn't actually a child! lol

I thought he was such a jerk. I had just moved schools and was sitting right across from him. I changed schools because the path I was headed down was not a good one. I was determined to be a different person. I knew everyone at the table except for him. I looked at him and said "Hi, what's your name." He pointed to his lap top that had a sticker with his name on it and said "Can't you read?" and looked at me like I was the stupidest person on Earth! Karma really got me on that one haha. So I guess you could say hate. He was so awful to me I even had to ask our mutual friends if he even liked being around me haha.

The first time FH "hit on me" was.... At night. In a dark parking lot. I completely ignored him and kept on walking. Granted we worked together in a gated parking lot- but still. Thought I was odd. I had just started a month prior and was thinking to myself. Why is this guy talking to me in a dark parking lot. He had been wanting to talk to me since he first saw me. And then continued to try for 3 months. At first we both felt it wasn't best to keep seeing each other since we worked together. But that lasted all of... A week. The rest is history.

I met him ten years ago at a summer camp. He asked me for my AIM screen-name and I said no. I didn't see him after that until two years ago, he kept showing up in "people you may know" on Facebook. I thought he was cute so I added him, and he messaged me asking if we've met before. I found out he's a frat boy bragging out being a doctor and I was so closed to being turned off. He asked to meet up downtown somewhere and we did. We had a great time. Turns out, he was the one who remembered how we met at summer camp.
