Stressing over budget and realizing how much weddings actually cost.

The guest list! Trying to narrow it down to a certain amount is tough. I don't like upsetting people, so I feel bad for leaving anybody out.

Making the decision to have the wedding on a Sunday. I wanted a Saturday wedding, but the venue we wanted didn't have any Saturday's left. It worked out, because we picked the Columbus Day weekend so most guests will be off on Monday.

The guest list. it keeps growing and growing and it is expensive to have big weddings. so we are struggling with telling our parents enough is enough. but they will be helping us a little bit so that makes it a little easier. our families have been very supportive and helpful throughout this whole process which has made it mostly stress free.

Deciding on the wedding party. At first we were worried about how different family members would react to certain people in the wedding party. But at the end of the day, we decided to say forget it and pick who we wanted to stand up there with us, and we're both very happy with our decisions!

Fighting with my fiancee about his refusing to put deposits down and making us lose venue after venue after venue. he insists on payment in full and I think that's stupid.

Definitely looking for a venue! I probably contacted 50-60 venues, and everything was either really expensive, partially outside (which wasn’t going to work with our February wedding), or didn’t hold enough people! We ended up finding the perfect venue about 10 minutes from FH’s hometown (2 hours from where we live)!

Literally within a week of getting engaged, when I started searching venues and was slapped in the face by the wedding tax

Worrying if he would ok the price of the venue. At first it was a firm no to all venues.

I would have to say the guest list. My mom and fiancee invited everyone they new. We had to cut some people. They definitely didn't make it easy.
