Hmm I can’t really remember. We tossed around seasons, I wanted fall and he wanted spring. We ended up meeting in the middle with January when we choose our venue.

We picked the venue first and then our wedding date. Venues go quickly in the DMV and it is not uncommon to book your venue 1 year plus in advance. So when the planning started we jumped on the venue and picked our date based on the openings they had.
