What was your wedding budget?

And are you managing to stay under or are you over it? FH and I set a budget of $10,000, and we're closer to about $12,000 because we spent more on catering and an open bar than planned. We both agreed we'd rather spend a little more to make our guests happen.

Ours is about $35 for 150 people (although we'll probably end up at 100).

Our budget is 10k for 80 people, and I’m making as many sacrifices as possible to stick to that.

Our first thought was $5000 And then we laughed our butts off and cried a bit when we looked into planning. Now we were aiming for 10,000 and to stay under 15,000. With current calculations it looks like we'll be at about 12,000 for 100 people.

We budgeted 20k for 150 guests.

This included EVERYTHING. Including a modified open bar, snacks/decor

Ours was $20-$24K for 90. We ended up with 73 and spent just under $23K for everything except honeymoon and rings. For NYC, that's pretty darn good.

We set our budget at $15,000. Right now we are hovering at 11k. And that is with all of the big ticket items out of the way (i.e. Venue, catering, cake, photo, coodination). This is for 75 guests.

We want a grand honeymoon, so we better stay under budget. Smiley laugh

We spent somewhere around $25k for ceremony and reception for 47 guests in Iowa. We were right on budget essentially.

We didn’t set a budget to stay under but we estimated everything to cost a little under 40k (excluding honeymoon and rings, that’s separate). We are estimating 130 guests now. Plated reception and open premium bar. I think we’ll be able to stay under Smiley tongue .

We're at about $26K. Planning to invite about 193 and hoping for around 170 guests (we can afford 193 though, I don't support over inviting!). We are getting a discount on all food/beverage for it being off season with a few upgrades as well. The reception is at an all inclusive golf club in the suburbs of Chicago.

I originally thought we could have a wedding between $10,000 and $15,000 for 80 guests. Immediately saw that wasn't possible. We didn't want to spend over $30,000, so we invited 55, and had 42 on the day of; spent $30,000 in South Bay Area of CA.

We had a budget of $10000 for 150 and decreased the number on prior to 125 out so, but still going over our budget. It's going to end up being almost $20Gs Including honeymoon and rings

We didn't really have a budget but more that we figured out our vision and picked vendors based on bang for our buck. We didn't want anything too lavish though so we weren't looking to spend a lot.

We spent about $11,000 for 120 guests not including rings and honeymoon, but I expect to get a few thousand back because we purchased stuff like linens instead of renting, and I'll be able to resell.

Our original budget was $10k, but Im thinking its going to be $15k. Were planning a wedding in Birmingham, Ala. for 120 guests. No open bar, just buffet-style food. I spent 1,000 on my dress. I wont need a lot of florals because rhe venue is so pretty on its own. Im foing to get as basic as I can with the cake cause I dont want to spend more than $300-400 on it.

Everything including, rings and honeymoon, gifts was about $30K for 98 guests (including ourselves) in greater Philly area.

We didn't really have a "set" budget. I think we were shooting for under $25K and obviously went over that, but oh well.

We set a goal of trying to keep it under $15K and we’ve got all the big stuff planned and booked and we’re at about $7-9K now. All we have left is the groomsmen suits, alterations, and flowers.

Were getting married in the North Georgia mountains next December.

NYC couple/ LI venue: We set a venue/ catering budget for under 25k for 150ppl give or take and would figure the rest out as we go. Right now we're are at 36k and I can easily see this being 50k for everything with about 160ppl. FH has always wanted a big wedding/ party, he's living the dream. lol

We're looking at $20k-$25k for about 130 guests in suburban Philadelphia, not including rings or honeymoon. Our venue is semi-inclusive and we are getting a big break on flowers since my cousin is a professional florist who is not charging us for labor (which was a pleasant surprise).
