What was your wedding budget?

And are you managing to stay under or are you over it? FH and I set a budget of $10,000, and we're closer to about $12,000 because we spent more on catering and an open bar than planned. We both agreed we'd rather spend a little more to make our guests happen.

Around $2800 - all things related to the wedding. I am not including his ring or any honeymoon costs. We are hosting 50 people for a lunch (with drinks) reception.

Oklahoma. FH and I have been looking for houses when I move there and you can get quite a lot of house for not very much money.
I'm from southwest Louisiana. Nice houses there typically go for that as well.

In LA, we're looking at between $15k-$20k for 200 guests (max). We could have held it for less, but I wanted my dream venue which was $5000.

We are thinking under $10,000 for 120 people in North Carolina. So far we’re at about $6000 with venue, decor, wedding planner, band, catering, and photographer. Still have to do alcohol, dress and clothing, and cake but that’s all for the main stuff.

Originally our budget was 10,000 for guest list of 40. Right now with everything booked except tuxes and bridemaids dresses we r at 8,900. My FH and I have recently been blessed with an increase in our finances so of course Im thinking of increasing guest list to 50 and I want to add a videographer now. So new budget is to stay under 15,000.

We are looking at $15k for around 150 guests (110 on guest list, accommodating for plus ones just in case). However, we have overshot much of our budget just to be safe. And this is without assistance from parents, although my mom has said she will help out financially. I feel a bit guilty spending what I used to make in a year on one day, but it only happens once! 😊

We were hoping for $10k for 100 guests. Now we're hoping to stay under $20k for about 125-130 guests.

I would love to hear more tips from this, my fiance and I are trying for the same thing at 10k and 150 guests. We're trying to have a mountain wedding but I'm crazy discouraged right now.

Our budget is $8500 - $10k for 50-60 guests in New Orleans, including rings and attire, but not honeymoon (that'll be later) and FMIL is hosting the rehearsal dinner. We're keeping it simple, so I don't think we'll go over that upper limit. If we do, not by much.

We don't have a budget exactly. We have a number we would like to stay around, but if it is more, well then, c'est le vie. So far, we are around our "budget" but we haven't finalized everything yet.

YEAH we sat like $5,000 but its grown to $11,000... We won't be able to take a honeymoon together right away so we thought we should just go all out for the big day.

Our budget is 5,000 for around 60 guests. So far we have the venue which is 1250 and catering is 650. We're only doing beer (most guests are family and pretty much only drink beer) and probably a mixed drink.

I hosted my guests at the quality I believed they deserved. Nothing "happened" just under estimated how much that would be in the beginning. Ps, big budget (which I wouldn't even consider myself) shaming is frowned upon on here.

We didn't have a specific budget, though I am trying to keep expenses in check. It looks like when it is all said and done, we're going to end up paying about $20-25K for 100ish people west of Boston.
