What Will Be On Your Welcome Table?

Be You Tifful, on May 21, 2014 at 5:53 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 1 11

I'm still deciding what to include on my welcome table at the reception. I will not be doing escort cards instead I will doing a seating chart. So far I’m thinking guestbook canvas, seating chart and card box.

Share your welcome tables or your inspiration pictures for the look you’re going for I would love to see. Any suggestions my "theme" is Modern meets Traditional

We're trying to keep all of that stuff simple. In addition to what you have planned, we also want to have my parent's wedding picture and FH's grandparent's wedding picture. His grandparent's have passed (he was really close to his Gma), and my Dad has passed, so this will be a subtle (and relevant) way to honor them.

We had the seating chart, guest book, and pictures. The card box/gift table was on the other side of the room, away from the door.

I still haven't figured that out yet - I guess my welcome table will be my guestbook signing table. My venue is a little odd with the layout - so I'm waiting for my DOC meeting for her to help me figure out those last minute details.

Ours will be our Bird cage card box, our seating chart and then we are also doing a canvas guest book (LOVED that idea!) FH wants to a "honey moon" fund jar, but I don't know if its too tacky...

Madison, try to talk him out of the honeymoon jar girl. We are doing escort cards, guest book canvas, and most likely our "I Spy/ Oh Snap" signage.

I found this interesting, creative yet in trend idea. I am sure, it will be a lot of fun for your guest, instead of writing words of congratulation, just to put a finger print on your wedding tree. Which mean, you can hang it on the wall in your living room for everlasting memory of your wedding day.

Here is a list of our tables with what will be on them to help out:

On my entrance table there will be the guest book, a photo album of my FH growing up, me and then us for those that want to look through it while they are waiting to sign in. I am also doing a Wishing/Advise cards which guest can either leave in a box or thinking of hanging them in a picture frame.

Our cards and gifts will have there own table just past this curtain that will be hanging up to give us privacy. Our venue is a golf club, so others will be in and out, but wont be in our space.

We also will have a memorial table (I saw someone reference a loss and they were adding pictures to honor them). I am honoring my father who passed 2 yrs ago, along with my grandfather and possibly my grandmother (very poor health at the moment). There will be a picture college of them, along with a candle burning in there honor and a vase with favorite flowers.

    Good luck!
