So, it's not WEDDING attire as such (unless you're getting married in the next week or so - woohoo! but what will you wear to Christmas (or New Years or Hanukah if more appropriate for you!), and what kind of event will it be?

We do lunch with my fiance's family, and dinner with mine, so it's just a quiet family day, but I still like to put some effort in and bust out the Christmas earrings.

Generally I like to do alternate years of red and green dresses, and this year is a green year! I bought this dress back in like, March, because I knew it was just so perfect for Christmas haha!

This year whilst we were in lockdown, I also got bored and spent a long weekend embroidering this pair of sneakers, so I will be wearing these as well!

Your turn! Show me what you'll be wearing these holidays!

OMG! I *love* it!!! Wish we could get away with dresses like that at Christmas here - but (despite the fact that it's been warm - warm enough for tornadoes) it's not warm enough for sleeveless!

Haha, thank you! When I saw it I knew it was perfect for that theme. I've been hearing about these tornados, they sound super scary, I hope you and your family stay safe. It's terrible at any time but even more dreadful at Christmas!

Thank you! It was extremely scary. All told, we were in the basement for approximately 3 hours last Friday night and the Amazon warehouse that got hit is less than 10 minutes from our house (I can see it from our puppy's daycare), but we were all safe and fine - about 9 hours without power, so had to dispose of dairy, lunchmeat, leftovers, etc. - but a very small loss considering. So many people have/had it so much worse.

Ugh, it sounds terrifying. I'm so glad you're all ok - I saw pictures of some spots and it is just devastating. I can't even imagine.
