Since I was a young teen, I knew that it would be my mother walking me down the aisle, if and when I got married. So now the time has come, and of course that is still my plan, but my dilemma here is that I also want my mother to be my Matron of Honor. Honestly she is the only woman in my family that fits the bill of what a MOH should be. Now she thinks she shouldn't be my MOH that it might be weird, but she of course is willing if that's what I want. So what are your thoughts? Should I have my mother be my MOH and also walk me down the aisle, or should I pick another family member, who I am not so sure deserves that title, but rather the less special (in my opinion) title of bridesmaid, and have my mother only walk me down the aisle?
