Hi ! I talked about it already in another post...

I would probably spend more time with my guests, I really feel like I didn't have enough time.

I would prefer to spend more time with my husband, I would do a sweethearts table.

I would do more stuff long before the wedding day, to be able to cope with all the surprises 1-2 weeks before.

I would make sure to have more time off work before the wedding day.

We really invested ourselves a lot to be sure that our wedding would please our guests. We somehow put ourselves on the second plan... we shouldn't have !

    ;-)

My wedding is in November but I asked this question to friends/family, one answer was definitely get a videographer, and the other was limit you and grooms alcohol consumption! Not remembering a day you spent thousands of dollars on is AWFUL. My BFF's hubs started doing karaoke and got into a fight with her mom bc of how intoxicated he was which ruined her whole night, didn't even sleep in the same room on wedding night.

Don't sweat the small stuff either, at the end of the day its about you and you FH so focus on eachother.

Just the weather. My wedding happened the week of a storm and we got rained in and couldn’t get our outdoor scenic photos so all photos were indoors in one area and no variety and we couldn’t use the outdoor garden for the ceremony. My entrance would have been grand coming down the stairs but honestly those stairs were freaking me out so maybe for the best. We are definitely planning a reshoot with our photographer at our venue sometime next year. Otherwise the day was great! I would also change my dress being so tight that when I sat I could barely bend or eat all night and needed several helping hands to scoop me up lol. I was one hungry bride! I completely forgot to make sure I could sit comfortably during alterations. Always do a sit check if you’re wearing a tight dress.

We did WAY too much DIY which ended up costing a lot more and was a stressful amount of work. Nobody notices the details anyway!
If you don’t have a 2nd photographer, get one. Even if for 1-2 hours. You seriously can’t have enough photos, especially of key moments (aisle walk, first kiss, reception entrance, and include guest reactions).
Even if you think you can’t afford the time or money, get a massage, chiropractor treatment or whatever helps you with stress for your big day.
