My husband and I chose a venue where the wedding cake was included however we paid a little more to upgrade and peraonalize the cake. The picture with the Mr & Mrs Walter cake topper was our wedding cake. As you can see, we didn't get exactly what we asked for but we were still happy with our wedding cake.

Is there anything you purchased for your wedding that was a classic case of "What You Asked For VS What You Got"?

My message sent before I could finish my train of thought. A TON of wedding items I bought online had problems when they arrived. an ice bucket I got was way smaller than I thought it'd be based on the description. My cake topper came and it felt much smaller also.

I learned that my eye balling over measurements was grossly inaccurate and ended up with many many candles that were far taller and more narrow than I wanted

Thank you! It did actually taste delicious. The top layer was vanilla, the middle was chocolate, and the bottom was chocolate chip. Most of my guest had never had chocolate chip cake so they loved it.
