I love my wedding binder. I actually created it with an arc notebook from Staples. I add all my contracts, quotes, notes and other important information. These are my sections and what goes in each one:

1.Important- budget; contact sheets; planning timeline; checklists

    2. Guests & Invitations-guests list; invitations & stationary; seating charts; favors; hotel info; welcome bags

    3. Ceremony -ceremony text; officiant info; contracts; processional & recessional order; decor; program

    4. Reception -venues; food; cake; rentals; contracts; decor; timeline

    5. Attire & Beauty - Bride (-dress -shoes & accessories -makeup -hair); Bridesmaids; Groom; Groomsmen

    6. Vendors- flowers; dj; photographer

    7. Honeymoon

    8. Misc... -registry; transportation

I found this site pretty helpful... not only for the spreadsheets but for a lot of great information! Check it out: http://apracticalwedding.com/spreadsheets/

We tweaked the spreadsheets a bit, but it was a great starting point to make sure we have everything in order.

Mine has dividers with pockets so I have all of our receipts stashed there to keep them all organized.

    Great post!

I love my wedding binder! I put it together myself from some different things I saw on Pinterest Smiley smile

In the front I have my timeline checklist that I live by! I also have a zippered pouch with post-it's, pen, pencil and a highliter. I bought some business card protective sheets that are also in the front. I have everything in my binder kept in plastic sheet protectors.

    My tabs are:

Calendar- where I write down appointments and when payments are due

Day-of Timeline & Contacts- don't have a timeline yet but this is where I keep all the contact info for my vendors and bridal party

Stationary- STDs, invites, menus, programs, table numbers, signage for the ceremony/reception space, etc.

Ceremony & Reception - I have these together because our wedding is at one location. This is where our contracts are, including for our officiant, and decor ideas.

Flowers - I originally put picture inspiration here but now it's where our florist contract is

Music- ceremony musicians and DJ contract

Photography- photographer & videographer contract, must-have shot list

Catering & Cake - nothing in here yet but photo inspiration! Will have menu and baker contract

Attire- receipts for my dress, veil, shoes and accessories. Picture, color & style # of the BM dress. Will also have fiancé & GM attire info.

Hair & Makeup- contracts & inspiration pics

Accommodations- hotel contract. Will also put our personal hotel reservation info here.

Transportation- currently has leads for limo and shuttle companies. Will have contracts and schedule info.

Registry- info from our registries. Will keep track of gifts received and thank you's in this section!

Shower & Bachelorette- this is where I keep picture inspiration and game ideas to pass on to my sister (my MOH)

Rehearsal- contract for rehearsal dinner, dinner menu and invitation info will go here!

Honeymoon- this is where all our travel details will go!

In my wedding google drive I have spreadsheets for guest list and budget, pics of the venue, pics of my dress fabric, quotes/invoices/contracts from vendors, day of schedule.

I can access and update it from anywhere, including on my phone, share everything with FH, and he can update from anywhere as well. No way I would ever do an actual binder. It would drive me crazy.

I mostly used mine as a place to keep receipts, contracts, and business cards/flyers of potential vendors.

Contracts, menu, a calendar, guest list, receipts... Basically more of a place to stash my papers than do much planning.
