What's on your playlist? Aisle walk song?

Shireen, on September 15, 2019 at 7:06 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 2 33
What's on your playlist ladies? What song will you walk down the aisle too and will your Dad be walking you?

We haven't narrowed down our playlist yet, I am almost 100 positive that I will be walking down the aisle to Jessie Powell "You" and my Dad is deceased 😢❤ he will not be walking me. My mom walked me the 1st time so I will allow her to sit out this time BUT I will be dedicating a song to her at the reception...my brother will walk me growing up he was my protector and my best friend he did not make my 1st wedding so I asked him to walk me this time.

My girls and I are walking down to from this moment your still the one by Caleb and Kelsey. My dad and mom will be walking me down the aisle. In their words it was an equal partnership in raising me and they both should be able to give me away.

This is true what mom and Dad said. My Dad was in the hospital in NY when I got married the 1st time.

I'm a little weird so I am walking down the aisle to the theme song from Jurassic Park played on an acoustic guitar. I am having the hardest time with a father daughter song. My dad passed in October of 2017 so I am dancing with my uncle and picking that song has been the worst.

Still working on the total playlist, but i'm walking down the aisle to "Bless the broken road" by Rascal Flatts, our first song is "Perfect" by Ed Shearan, our memorial dance is "You should be here" by Cole Swindell, and the bouquet toss song is "girls just wanna have fun" by Cyndi Lauper. There is no father daughter dance, my parents are both gone, and so are my FH's parents.

Songs in the running so far
    Glitter in the air- Pink
    Swing life away- Rise against
    Fools rush in- Elvis

All three will be played at the reception for my FH and I to dance to. We're not doing a parent dance since FH mom has passed and I don't want to make him feel bad that day. I'm thinking for the processional using Pink. Recessional Rise Against. And first dance Elvis.

I'm walking down the aisle to "You" by Great Big World... Can't wait... My dad is taking me down the aisle after intense negotiations. It's my second wedding after being widowed, and I don't feel the need to be given away, but I do want someone there to lean on if I get nervous. Smiley smile

I’m walking down to “At Last” by Cyndi Lauper. I decided to walk alone. I choose this because it will be the last time I walk along as a single mother.
