What's one thing your fiancé(e) would spend less on for the wedding?

Photographer... hes never been a sell yourself kind of guy. Hes a sales man but hes never had to stand by his own personal products so doesn't understand people need to be paid for their time. I got our photographer for a steal! Full day coverage with an assistant for $1200 and he was p****d! lol I was like you realize all the other quotes I received were 3k-4k. Hes like a person is not worth $1200 for one day... he doesn't realize how much work and time goes into editing the photos and what not.

Basically all of it, lol. He's starting to understand that this stuff costs a lot, and I'm doing pretty much everything I can to keep costs low already. If I had to pick a thing I think he'd cut dramatically, it would probably be alcohol since he's not really a drinker.

Truth be told I don't think he cares about anything he just hands over the money and say get whatever you want, Im the one with the budget plan

Nothing, we're already budgeting it much tighter than he'd like so he can get a motorcycle and we can put money away for a move in a few years.

He's been pretty happy with things... only bill he has balked at was alterations... he doesnt know i'm getting sleeves because he requested to not be told anything about what i'm wearing.

He'd have an outside park wedding with pizza and beer where he wouldn't have to wear a tux and there wouldn't be any entertainment. Cost of under $1,000.

Needless to say, his vote was denied.

Catering is most of our budget. If it was his way it’d be BYOB and his sisters would make the food or we’d cater from “fast food or something cheap”. He did get his way with the photographer though and quickly booted that from my budget and is having his sister “take some photos” before the wedding. Le sigh. I learned from that to simply leave him out of the planning, he wrote a check and I just did what I need to stay within that budget (with my own budget allocation for anything above his contribution 😝)

Oh yeah and absolutely no DJ. He thinks it’s stupid and frivolous. And no one is going to care.

The wedding in general ! If it was up to my fiancé we would get married in a court. Im the one who wants the big wedding and he lets me choose whatever

Honestly we have budgeted everything so well that neither of us have many complaints.

The wedding itself 🙃 He just wanted to go to the courthouse but I wanted the white wedding so that is what we are doing.

Oo he would deffinatly spend more money! I am the fruggle one. He is the you only live once one!
