Tracy Anderson mat workout DVD !!! I swear by it . Do that 2-4 days a week and you'll see results within like a month. Really tones arms etc in a short time.

Losing weight is mostly about diet. Exercise will absolutely help and speed the process, but at the end of the day, it's all about calories in, calories out. Use myfitnesspal or cronometer and track your calories, and make sure you're hitting a calorie deficit every day (cronometer has tools that can tell you how much of a deficit you need to lose the desired amount of pounds per week). Good luck!

My biggest piece of advice is to find a workout YOU love. Something that works for me may not work for you.

I really enjoy running. I train pretty much all the time for half and full marathons...I've done 15 in the last 3 years! It's a social activity for me- I do a run camp in my area from January-May and June-October. It's a blast!

I also love hot yoga. I try and make it to a class 3x a week. It's hella hard, but it's so grounding.

As far as diet, I find that I do the best when I don't limit myself to certain food groups, but I track my calories on MyFitnessPal.

I started eating smaller portions, eating more fruits & veggies for snack, gym time (40 mins on treadmill, few sets of situps) & lots of lemon water. Have fun.

I suggest researching IIFYM and getting into weight training (Check out the 5x5 Stronglifts app. Good for beginners).

21 day fix all the way. Follow the meal plan. Half hour workouts. So easy to do!

Check out the different workouts from beachbody! They have a lot to choose from and provide nutrition plans to follow.

Try a few different workouts and see what you love. You won't stick to it if you don't enjoy it. I like using a calorie counting app too.

Im trying to get back into weight loss mode myself ....Calorie counting! Or even weight watchers. It's the most sane way to still eat what you enjoy mostly just getting used to smaller portions and healthier preparations of your faves. Bulk up portions with low calorie foods (veggies/greens)

For at home exercise I love my Leslie Sansone walk away the pounds dvds for low impact workouts and beach body Turbo Jam or Jillian Michael's 30 day shred when I want to amp it up a bit.

Start early. Eat right. Drink lots of water. More water than anything. Move your body.

If you get crazy, you're likely to gain the weight and then some back after the wedding.

Zumba!! Love it and so much fun, and no I am not that great of a dancer! Also lots of water and cut down portion sizes. That's a big one for me cause I LOVE to eat. If you feel like you've been sitting too long, get up and move!

I have a friend who's a beachbody coach and she said there is a promotion going on right now for the beachbody on demand streaming. It's a year of access for $99. I had success with T25 and P90x awhile ago but live on the 2nd floor of an apartment now and would hate to be THAT neighbor.

Honestly, I fancy myself in shape and I just do workouts that I love. That could be a run sometimes, but that also means pilates and workout videos if I can't make it to the gym. Just have a goal to get moving for X amount of time X amount of times per week.

Also, for diet, I say make sure to stick to something that you can keep up. Crash diets are blah to me because anything that tells me I can't have a cheeseburger is not something I really need. And, if I have to give up cheeseburgers forever to be a size 2 then it really isn't worth it, IMO.

Hard pass on Tracey Anderson- she's the person who thinks you shouldn't pick up anything heavier than 3 pounds.

    she makes me stabby.

So you need to worry about your food first and formost- I'm a big IIFYM person- and I use MFP to track calories.

Eat at small calorie deficit consistently and you'll get there.

Working out will help- but it's not necessary.

Being said- it IS important for over all wellness.

    at home?

@JoRocka I fall in love with you every time you say "stabby."

I also want to add that this is more for motivation, but I really love the "Half-Size Me" podcast. I'm trying to lose like 5 lbs and I find it motivating. I also like watching the Biggest Loser and shows like that while working out if I'm just doing a simple, boring cardio day. I say to myself "If they can run for an hour with all that weight, I can do it too!" "If they can lose 100 lbs, I can lose my 5!" etc.

I have been cutting back on the sweets/ watching portion sizing in the "diet" category, and then for the working out I got a Simply Fit Board (hello my name is Samantha and I am a Shark Tank addict lol) and that has actually been working great! I do 2 of the 10 minute work outs each day.
