This past weekend a good friend of mine got married. Her fiancé (now husband!) is Greek and it just so happened that his sister was also engaged. Since majority of their family would be flying in from Greece, to avoid them having to make two trips, the family decided to have a double wedding! Two ceremonies, two brides, two grooms, one huge reception with 650 people!!! Idk if any of you have ever been to a Greek or Albanian wedding, but they sure do know how to party! My family is Albanian so I knew what to expect...but it was still such a fun wedding! And very well organized (surprisingly)!!

What is the craziest wedding you've been to?!

Over the weekend, I was told this story by a friend of ours:

She and her husband were at a wedding of his co worker. Not very religious, but still had a priest marry them. Among the family and friends was an openly gay, newly married couple. The priest, during the ceremony, decided to say (and I'm paraphrasing) "It's so nice to see the union of a MAN and a WOMAN, as marriage should be." The priest knew that the gay couple were among the guests.

I went to my cousins wedding with a fairly new boyfriend, I had to drive him there, he was so rude to my family and to top it off stared at one of the other bridesmaids , tried picking her up, asking her out and ignored me the entire night. I broke up with him immediately! Lol

My best friend just went to her sister's wedding yesterday. Her entire family worked the wedding, my best friend's other sister's boyfriend took the photos, it was self catered, and on a holiday. Her sister planned it in a month. I'm looking forward to her rundown of events.

I just had an alcoholic family member call up my future mother in law and yell at her. I have had a pretty stressful day...but apparently it could definitely be worse hahaha...

Based on these stories, it sounds like surrounding this family member with people willing to escort her away was a good choice...wish me luck! I hope not to add my own wedding to this list LOL
