What's your father-daughter dance song? 🎵

I’m not sure if I want to do a father/daughter dance since I’m not close with my dad (I didn’t meet him until I was 17 and we’ve had a very strained relationship ever since). I’m thinking about using Wildflowers by Tom Petty if I decide to do it.

We lost my Dad in 2011, but he always called me "Sunshine" after the John Denver song "Sunshine on My Shoulders," so I danced with my brother to that song.

Mine is very sentimental. My dad is in the military and has been deployed 4 times (he is actually currently in Afghanistan.) When he was deployed the first time, all he had was an iPod that had all of his favorite songs on it. Every day during his deployment, he listened to "Beautiful Day" by U2 and thought of his family at home. He tears up whenever he hears it and it is his all-time favorite song. We will be dancing to it during our father/daughter dance and I am so excited. No eye will be dry, that's for sure!

Having two father daughter dances. One with my my bio dad still not sure on the song. Then doing another dance with my Ftf (father type figure-stepdad) we will be doing a mashup of songs.

My “father” is actually my grandpa since he raised me. We are dancing to “Grandpa” by The Judds and I’ll probably cry the whole time.

I’m not having a father/daughter dance. But I am having a mother/children dance instead. I have four children from a previous marriage. We’re dancing to “I Hope You Dance” by LeeAnn Womack.

Sadly my father and both grandfathers have passed away, so i'm not going to have that.
