What's your favorite thing about your wedding?

Livelybride- I agree with you, but I though FS were a given lol! I'm also super excited to get my hair cut the day after... Shaved head pixie cut here I coooooome!

In no particular order...

-the late night gourmet grilled cheese bar

-having everyone FH and I love celebrating with us

-FH's face when he sees me for the first time

I'm looking forward to the simplicity of it all.

My DM (Dungeon Master from D & D) is marrying us, so the ceremony will be hilarious and awesome.

We're doing tacos, beer, and disc golf, and I cannot WAIT to run around in my dress and petticoat and play disc golf.

But I think my favorite thing will be my reception shoes:

FH used to line dance as a kid but there are no pictures, so I'll never see him in his gear... :/

Aside from finally becoming a bride after 35 years of waiting! My venue. I love my venue. They're a pain in the ass to deal with (finicky historic building), but I love it so much I don't care. I just get so excited every time I see it!

The bar/liquor.

I'm most excited about our food. We are having deep fried turkey and I cant wait.

The rehearsal/out of town dinner was my favorite part.

Both families are huge sports fans. Being from L.A. - my family are all huge Dodger fans.

Being from Albuquerque, so are his family... because up until this year, the Dodger's AAA minor league team was in Albuquerque.

So, we had our rehearsal dinner in a private picnic area in the bleachers of the minor league stadium. Catered BBQ, everyone able to walk around, mingle, get to know each other, and watch a baseball game. It was a great way for people to meet as most had never before.

Oh and the NM Green Chile Cheese Fries that DH and I scarfed down at the casino/hotel snack bar after the wedding with our friends cuz we barely ate during the wedding - THOSE WERE AMAZING (or we were just that hungry)

@VMDIZZLE Can't go wrong! $4/cup & guests can load up with any toppings they'd like. We're having a "froyo tasting" this week - I may be most excited for the tasting... having buches of froyo all to myself lol

I am super excited for my bachelorette party and the honeymoon. As for the actual wedding, I am super excited to take pictures with my handsome man all dressed up, the big party with family and friends, and to finally be his wife after so many years.

@Marisslee that sounds amazing!!! I wanted to do a cupcake bar like that, but I think we'll just have piles and piles of donuts.

I agree with PK; I can't wait to share our favorite vacation destination with the rest of our families. In addition to having both of our families mingling. So exciting!

Wearing my dress, seeing FH's reaction when he sees me walking down the aisle for the first time (we're not doing a first look), giving him his boudoir photos and partying the night away with FH, friends and family!

The other day someone asked me what I was looking forward to most. I got a strange look when I said the cake! LOL! I just can't wait to see how it looks and to see the cake topper on it!

I also can't wait to do the garter/bouquet toss. We're doing something similar as Claudia. Whoever catches the bouquet and garter gets a gift. Should be fun!

I think I am most excited to have all my worlds collide in one space and to be surrounded by so much love and support. The truly best part of it all is the thing that doesn't have a one night expiration date: my FH. The idea of us becoming a family and truly teaming up to take on the world and make it a better place is my dream come true.

I am excited about dancing with those I love and the doughnut tower.

Also, to celebrate a decade with FH by becoming husband and wife. Its been a long time coming and what better way to celebrate 10 years than by getting married surrounded by those we love the most and then dancing the night away in the beautiful city we call home.

I'm excited to marry FH. This wedding stuff is getting stressful and I'm over it...I just want the day to be here already.
