@Danielle W... that was always going to be my wedding song with my FH (whoever that was going to be) and then Eric and I heard the Goo Goo Dolls song, we really liked it. We were in the movie theater in Arizona with my sister waiting for our movie to start when the music video popped up. This is when we realized that was going to be our song!

FH and I are huge metalheads. We're walking in to the reception to Raining Blood by Slayer. So what's our first dance song, you ask?

We were torn between "Here and Now" by Luther Vandross and "Faithfully" by Journey. Both are great songs, but we ended up choosing "Faithfully" by Journey. It fits us better than "Here and Now."

Ours was unconventional as well but it was SUPER well received at our wedding, people were actually singing along and it felt like we were in a movie (cheesy i know but for reals.) It is just so us and couldn't think of it being anything different.

Yeah most people haven't heard it. And if you listen to the actual words, it's not much of a love song but it describes our story. The words you do hear are very pretty though and we love her voice. When I first played it for FH he teared up (which is rare).

We did the song Earth Angel by The Penguins. I love the Back to the Future movies, and it's the song Marty's parents dance to at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance. So it was fun for that sake, and we had danced to it at other events in the past and he always used to sing it to my while dancing... it just seemed like it all clicked

We are either doing "First day of my life" by Bright Eyes or "Overwhelmed" by Tim McMorrison.

Who I am with you by Chris young. I was undecided and heard this song for the first time the Thursday before the wedding and my mind was made up instantly.
