What's your first dance song?

In traditional Greek weddings, you do your typical slow dance (which only recently has become popular), and then you start your traditional line dances.

We went with somewhat of a cliche tune, Perfect by Ed Sheeran feat. Beyonce. I love how her part echoes his.

Then we line up for our Greek dances and really get the party started lol

I'm thinking of Can't Help Falling In Love covered by Haley Reinhart or Unchained Melody.

We are dancing to the second chorus of You & Me by Dave Matthews after the second chorus our DJ is going to blend into "Our House" by Flo-Rida to get the party started. All of our friends know this is our party/vacation song and as soon as they hear the finger snaps in the beginning they will know what to do. I just couldn't have everyone staring at us for the entire Dave Matthews song & wanted to do something fun.

FH and I had decided to do I Promise You by the Backstreet Boys. I'm a huge BSB fan (don't judge 😂) and FH knew most of their songs before we met. So one day this specific song came up in the car and he said "this would be a good first dance song". So really, he picked it!

Sade, By your side. My FH wants to use Nothing else matters by Metallica but I’m not sold on that one. 😂

You And I by Michael Buble. We really just started playing each other songs we liked or artists we liked until something fit us. ❤

In Case You Didn't Know by Brett Young. I get excited every time I hear it just thinking about our first dance

First dance is Stand By Me - the version by Florence and The Machine. Its so pretty!

After that I pretty much gave our DJ free reign!

Easy Living by Billie Holliday. Fh has loved the song all his life so I couldn't say no. Truth be told, it has grown on me as well

I get to love you by ruelle. That was one of the hardest things to decide on.

There's also a BSB song "I Promise You".

We danced to Harvest Moon by Neil Young. The band that we had at our wedding did such a good job playing it! I mostly let DH pick the song because he's super picky with music.

Sleeping At Last's cover of "You've got a friend in me".. it's perfect for us, and FH picked it

We are going to dance to I Cross My Heart by George Strait. My FH really wanted the song and I thought it was very nice and fit

I think we're leaning towards "You are the Best Thing" by Ray LaMontagne

“I’m gonna be (500miles)” by Sleeping At Last. We both heard it on a commercial and it was just perfect!

Our first dance song is OUR song- "A Groovy Kind of Love" by Phil Collins.
