What's your hair/makeup budget?

This is gonna depend on where you live. A high cost of living area will have much higher costs.
For me, it was $85 for hair and $85 for makeup for bridesmaids. For the bride, I paid $500 and that included both hair and makeup day of and a trial for both hair and makeup.

It depends where you live but $150-200/person is pretty average.

Very much location dependent. I live in Baltimore, MD and am paying $100/service (everyone else is $85/service) but when I was in my brother's wedding in Cleveland, OH, my hair was only $45.

I'm in Chicago Suburbs - for me its $85 for hair and $85 for makeup. for everyone else its $75 for hair and $75 for makeup. I have to have a minimum of 10 services so Me, my maid of honor, my FMIL, FSIL and best man's wife are getting hair and makeup done and then my 3 flower girls are getting their hair done I think at $50 a piece. I’m in TX and we are paying $210 a person for both, and $250 for the bride. That’s been the norm for all the quotes I received and what I’ve paid to be in weddings.

Location and artist based for sure. I'm in Las Vegas and my artist is charging me $150 for hair and make up. My girls are getting just their make up and that's $85.

I'm in California and am paying $130 for each bridesmaid and mom- This doesnt include updos just styling. Its $240 for myself- and the hair and makeup trial is $175

I agree, VERY dependent on where you live. I was quoted $300 for bridesmaids and $500 for a bride... makeup only, not including travel at one place, and my hair lady was outrageously expensive and it was going to cost over $300 per person just for hair, since she was going to have to close the salon. And that wouldn't include travel or overnight accommodation costs which we were to have covered.

So, it's actually worked out ok that she can't do our new date. I'm hoping to find someone a bit more local who is also mobile, so there won't be that salon closure cost.

I’m in the Chicago area and most hair/makeup trials I’m seeing are around $150 and about $170 for each bridesmaid on the big day depending on hair. Thanks so much for the info, ladies! I feel more prepared on what to expect.

$800 seems pretty reasonable for 4 people for both hair and makeup. That's $200 per person.

The company I chose is $300 for bride and $180 for bridesmaids and moms.

Right? I thought it was insane. The makeup was... VERY instagram perfect, and on reflection, I think it would have dated, so it all worked out for the best in the end! Plus, the lady who IS doing our makeup turns out to have done my sister in law's wedding makeup! Which was a nice touch!

For my hair and makeup along with my mother and best friend it will be $650 so your price sounds good to me.
