What’s your mom wearing ??

Whatever they're comfortable in. They don't need to match your wedding colors. Champagne, burgundy, or navy would all compliment your colors well.

My mom is wearing a dark purple & FMIL is wearing lavender. I told them both to wear something that they felt comfortable in & it didn’t matter - however they both chose to wear the wedding colors. I picked out my mom’s dress, but I have no idea what FMIL dress looks like.

We just let the moms pick out what they wanted. We told them out wedding styles and asked that they were a long dress. Here’s my mom's!

I told my mom to pick something she felt comfortable/beautiful in. It ended up being a silver maxi-dress, and it doesn't match our wedding colors (burgundy, navy, ivory, and champagne) at all. As PPs have mentioned, they don't have to match your wedding party, colors or theme

Mine is wearing this burgundy sequin dress! Our colors are plum, silver and ivory so she doesn’t match, but same kind of color family
