What’s your story?! 💛

I met my fiance in high school we were both in 11th grade my mom had sent me back to Puerto Rico so we had a long distance relationship til my mom decided to bring me back 6 months later today we've been together for 4 years and 4 months with an almost 2 yr old baby girl!.

I didn't date. A friend opened me a profile on match.com. I went on a total of 4 dates. Three of them was in one week period, each guy new that at the end I'd pick one, ha! and I picked my husband. On our first in-person meeting we met at a local park where i greet him with a Glazed Donut from Pick N Save (one of our favorites) and went to a Labor Day Festival. Been together every since!

The saying "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach." is completely true

It's funny because I never thought I can actually meet someone online and build a relationship from that but surely met him on POF and had to be the one to compliment AND start the convo because he definitely just killed the conversation. And since than we been together (4 years)

We meet in college 🎓 had 3 same classes together. Our English teacher kept on putting us together to read the dialog form the book and that's how it all started ❤️

My story is long but I will try and shorten it. My FH and I met in 7th grade Journalism class 1993. He has always been wheelchair bound due to Spina Bifida which never mattered to me. We became best friends. We went to different high schools and had other friends but our friendship was most important to us. I went into the Navy in 2001 and he went to college but we stayed in touch and talked all the time (still best friends) I got married in 2001 which ended up in a 13 year very abusive relationship. My FH was the one that helped support me leaving and stayed by my side even now through court battles. I have 2 kids with my ex. When I finally moved back home, my FH and I knew that there was more to our relationship than just best friends. We were meant to go through what we have been through so that we could be in each other’s lives. Now 26 years later we are engaged, best friends and soul mates. I always say that I was born to love him and be with him. I was born exactly 9 months after he was born. God knew what he was doing for sure!!

We met on our way to a media event at work!

We both work for Ford and it was my first day in the plant in Kentucky. One of the other engineers (his friend) introduced himself first on the 1 mile walk through the building. When the conversation fizzled, my FH walked beside me and introduced himself.

Upon arriving to the event, we were in the far back and I couldn't see (I'm 5' 4" he is 6' 1"). He teased me but then said that we could try to get closer. I hardly remember what happened at the event other than we didn't pay attention to a Ford President, Kentucky Governor, Louisville Mayor, or UAW President talk. But it was documented in a newspaper and I have the picture to display at the wedding! We were the only two not looking at the stage.

Today is 8 months till we say "I Do"!

FH tells the story way better than I do, but...

We went to high school together. He asked me out multiple times. I friend zoned him each time.

We both moved to the same city for college. He asked me out. I friend zoned him yet again.

We lost touch for a little while and then reconnected on Facebook. This time when he asked me out, I said yes. We've been together ever since. When he tells that story he likes to start with "I chased her for X years...." each time he tells it the number grows. I think he's up to 15 in story telling years, but in reality he only chased me for 8.

We met through a match maker company, Orange County Singles.

I joined band my sophomore year in HS. He was a senior and in the same section as I, and I pursued him hard but he thought I was a bit much. Towards the end of the year (April) I kind of decided to cut my losses out of respect for myself, as he was about to graduate and I’d never see him again once he did. Once I backed off he started trying to hang out with me a lot more and suddenly was interested 😂 it’s funny to me how someone I had the biggest crush on at first sight and then thought I’d never see again has been in my life 9 years now and will be there forever ♾♥️

My Fiancé and I met back in 2011, He was 14 and I was 12 he was my next door neighbor. we were great friends for the longest time before we got together.

We met through my cousin because they worked together!

We met at a biker party through my ex beat friend. I blew him off that night and for 5 months after. Not because he wasn't cute or anything. I just was in a different headspace. A man was the last think on my mind. Then I saw him 5 months later dressed in a nice suit and it's like time stopped. Lol. Don't judge me, I'm a sucker for well dressed men. Not all of them but for him I was. So I made myself seen and here we are...years later.. ❤

A mutual friend knew we’d be perfect for each other. However he was in a relationship. Come Valentine’s Day he was working a trade show and couldn’t get away to get that extra special gift, so she broke up with him. A few months passed and he asked me out. A hike in 100* plus weather, steak dinner that evening, drinks back at my place and it’s all history. 7 years later we’re best friends and happily engaged.

We met our mutual friends’ wedding weekend in Orlando! He was the Best Man from Louisiana and I was a bridesmaid from PA. Talked for about 2 months then met in Charleston for a 4 day first date, dated long distance for 7 months and now we’re engaged and living together.

At the time he worked at our local grocery store, my grandmother was a regular in his line and he was telling her that his girlfriend had cheated on him. My grandmother decided to tell him "Well, my granddaughter is beautiful and she's single" then she told him my name. He actually wound up searching for me on facebook and he added me. As soon as I accepted his friend request, he sent me a message, from there we talked constantly but tbh he didn't really give me a choice lol. If I didn't text him back he would message me on facebook or send me a snapchat. We actually lived right around the block from one another and bumped into each other while walking our dogs, then we started going for nightly walks, we would sit out in a big open field down the road to watch the stars all night. After a couple weeks he was actually begging to take me out on a date, which it was actually my first ever date (once I finally agreed to go) but it was on MY conditions. He had to let me pay for some of it, and nothing fancy. So we went to the mall, ate chinese in the food court then went over to the neighboring movie theater to see "The Conjuring 2" I believe it was. When the movie was over, he took me home, walked me to the door AND DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO KISS ME!!!!! We continued with small dainty movies and mall dates along with our nightly walks and taking trips to the boardwalk, until he eventually asked me out haha. It wasn't until months (almost a year) that I let him take me out to a place other than fast food or the food court lmao. Super romanticXD

We met on Facebook through a mutual friend. He sent me a drunken friends request and I accepted. Today is our 3 year anniversary of dating 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

My first job right after college! we were best buds for 2 years before we started dating. Everyone thought we would make an amazing couple, we were the last to see it, but fast forward a few years, here we are planning our wedding

We met on a dating app. Funny thing is I had the app and I swiped left on him at first. I then got tired of the app, deleted it, downloaded it again, created a new account and there he was so I swiped right on him and here we are. LOL. We met on the dating app chispa so our little motto is "It started with a spark", since chispa means spark in Spanish
