Budget wise buffet works better for us. I would prefer plated though.

We did buffet because for the price it gave many more options. I also like that my guests had to option for 2nds id they so choose.

Buffet! We actually aren't even having anyone cater! We are doing pulled pork sandwiches and making everything ourselves/having family/friends help.

Buffet. that's the only option for our venue and we are fine with that.

I'm doing buffet style because I think it'll be easier to feed people that way.

This is a hot topic right now. I would like to do plated but am unsure as it is going to nearly double my price per person

I really want plated but it costs more. The current restaurant we are trying to book is plated so I hope it works out.

We chose buffet because it worked better with our budget and the food choice we were wanting!

Buffet so the kiddos at our wedding can choose what to eat the day of rather than having to pick something ahead of time.

Buffet. it's cheaper, and if someone doesn't like something it won't go to waste like it would on a plated meal

Buffet finger foods and/or appetizers. It's a short reception at 3pm, no need to serve a meal.

I love buffet, because I am very picky with food. However this Covid time change the way we feel about it, we are avoiding any kind of buffet until covid is not a huge problem anymore.
