When and WHERE will everyone’s honeymoon be?!

Our wedding isn’t until spring 2022, so we are hopeful travel restrictions will be lifted by then. Assuming all goes as planned, we will be leaving for our honeymoon 2 days after our wedding. We will be going to Italy, Switzerland and Austria.

Getting married Labor Day weekend and honeymooning in Hawaii a month later! Hawaii was our plan even before COVID - it's far enough away from us (east coast) that we probably wouldn't go for a regular ole vacation.

I'm getting married in July 2022, and assuming travel is safely resumed, we'll be going to Glacier/Banff/Jasper National Parks for two weeks right after the wedding, and then Egypt in November 2022 for two weeks! We live in Spain and are entitled by law to 15 days for a honeymoon on top of normal vacation days, so we're going to take advantage of being in the US to travel right after the Chicago wedding, and then take the farther-flung Egypt trip with our normal vacation days when we're back in Spain.

We did Dunn's River Falls on our honeymoon. Be prepared, the water can be a little chilly! But it's a great time.

We will head to Cancun a week after the wedding. We will stay away from the parties foe the first 3 days in Puerto Morelos then head to the Hotel Zone for the last 4 days. Can't wait till January.

We did a minimoon in our destination wedding location (Destin, Florida) in January, but we’re trying to decide between Hawaii, St. Lucia and Aruba for our real honeymoon in the fall (trying to wait for COVID to really go down). We cannot seem to make up our minds!!

2 days after our wedding we'll be driving out to Big Bear Lake in California (we also live in CA) where we're renting a cabin Mon-Fri. The lake is 3 blocks away and there are plenty of hiking trails and great local eateries. The cabin has a kayak we can use at the lake and a hot tub and they give you a bottle of wine upon arrival. We really just want to relax and spend some time alone with no specific demands on our time for a bit. I'm also not having sex until I get married (he's done so in previous relationships, but respects my wishes), so I'm sure we'll want to have plenty of alone time.

So... can I just say that I'm super jealous of that honeymoon law of yours?! I'm using all of my vacation time for our 5-day honeymoon and my FH is just taking the time off as he doesn't get vacation days through his work.

We're getting married in August but we didn't want to plan both our wedding and honeymoon at the same time (it's sort of destination because it's an hour and a half from where we live due to wanting to be between where both our families live). So we're planning to do a honeymoon on our first anniversary (August 2022). We'll be spending two weeks touring Ireland and the UK, starting in Dublin, going up to Scotland then making our way down to London, stop in a few Welsh cities and fly out of Manchester! I spent a semester in Kingston Upon Hull England, so we're stopping there for a few days and celebrate with my British friends!

Dallas TX, the following 2 days after our wedding. We have 5 kids so we can’t leave anywhere super far. FH is always worried when we aren’t with them.

Our wedding date was 4/3/21 Pre Covid.. we moved it to October 2021 and we’ll go to Maui 2 days after our wedding. I’ve never been and am super excited!!

We are getting married on 03/12/2022 and are going to the Dominican Republic 3 days after.

SO fun! We’re getting married this October and, covid permitting, doing an Excellence resort in Mexico right after! It’s been years since I made it to a beach and I am SO excited!
