When did it start to feel real to you?

I love your hair and makeup! It still feels far enough off at 94 days, but things are def escalating. Spoke to photographer and DJ. They want timelines next month and song lists and what pics we want/where. Now I’m on the hunt for candles for the centerpieces at the tables.

It felt real when we paid our venue deposit!

When we got our invitations and cake topper and unity candle. They all came around the same week and that really made it real. I'm a very impatient person so once he finally asked me after 9 years together we planned to get married within 4 months. Not every type of vendor is easily available that soon but it's worked out. I'm just happy there's not a lot of waiting time. I'm too excited! Lol less than 100 days to September 26th! Yay!

It still doesn't feel real. We have 73 days to go, but things are a bit up in the air here with covid and us being in lockdown, and I honestly don't know if it will feel real until it's actually happening and we haven't had to postpone.

I think it would feel a lot more real if I didn't have that fear that it might not get to happen.

View Quoted Comment COVID has really taken a lot of the fun out of planning. We're in NYC and had to postpone for a year. Only in the last two months have the restrictions been lifted and we've been able to start planning again. I hope things improve and your restrictions are lifted soon so you enjoy this special time.

When I had like 14 girls including my mother, mother in law and my fur baby in our one hotel room and I was getting my makeup done. And honestly when we had the rehearsal dinner the night before with loved ones and friends.

Exactly one week before the wedding, it was really exciting. It probably would have been sooner, but my wedding was always at risk of being postponed due to COVID.

Just did cake tasting, and our jeweler said rings are in. I’m around 88 days out, things are heating up a little (contact with vendors now) but still not nervous yet.

We've had a long engagement, so planning the wedding has been a thing in the back of our minds for the last 2 years now. We are officially 94 days out and it still feels kind of day dream like. That is until this last Sunday when we had our first fitting. Due to covid limitations- nobody except my mom got to go with me to pick out and purchase my wedding dress. It was something very special I got to enjoy just between the two of us but that meant that nobody else has seen it yet. So on Sunday when I got to try it on for the seamstress, everyone in my bridal party and both grandmas got to see me in my dress. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. And when I saw all of my girls in their dresses, I began to weep too. This is actually happening. I am a bride and I get to marry the love of my life. That's when it hit me "I'M GETTING MARRIED!"
