When did you actually start wedding planning?

Been engaged over a year, I occasionally work on the wedding details every so often but I don’t feel it’s necessary to stress over it.

I kind of started wedding planning before the proposal, since I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with my fiancé (when we where just boyfriend/girlfriend). I still have not gone full force wedding planning yet. I am trying to plan a little at a time.

Before becoming engaged. We've been together for six years and have talked about getting married off and on over the last few years. We recently decided that 2020 would be our year to go ahead and take that step. We like tossing ideas back and forth with each other. I love how supportive he is of my visions and vice versa. We still haven't done our official announcement to family and friends. We're waiting until after we have our engagement photo session to make the announcement.

Honestly, a few moments after. I was too happy!! 🙃🙃

But i started looking for fun months ago

We started planning like the week after. We struggled with figuring out our date. Once we got that figured out, we started our venue search

We waited a year after the proposal to start planning.

The next week I started refining my wedding dream board on Pinterest! We actually started seriously planning a few months later. Being engaged is FUN, and we wanted to enjoy that stage of our relationship and not have to stress.

We didn't waste much time because we knew our date was going to be about year out from our engagement date. So you maybe gave it a couple of days, and then dove right in.

That next day

Two weeks after because I wanted to get married next year in the fall. So it was already a year away.

Just a few days after actually. We discussed what type of wedding we would like and where and how big and then set a date. We are waiting until I take leave again to dive back into planning mainly because we need to meet with a bishop because I'm not Catholic but she is.

I started planning a month after our engagement I want to have a dolphin wedding that is my dream wedding I’m trying to have a beach wedding ceremony and have my reception on a beach or in a lagoon with dolphins I have contacted seaworld and discovery cove but they can’t do anything because it’s to far advance from now we want to 4-8-2028 or maybe sooner have to plan all the money

We got engaged June 2019 and have been together for a long time but didn't plan anything before so enjoyed the engagement til fall came and now we are booked with our venue for July 10, 2021. Next is catering and then to enjoy the holidays and pick back up in the spring.

I got engaged on 10/27 and pretty much started immediately. I wanted to try to pull off an October 2020 wedding but all the venues I wanted are booked, so that was out of the window. I also found out about the proposal a few months before it happened so I did little tentative plans, like figuring out bridesmaids and wedding dress options etc.

From the proposal day we began planning within a week! My fiancé researched a lot of venues. We saw a handful of venues and within 2 weeks our venue was booked.

I got engaged on September 14, 2019 and started looking for venues two days latter. We had our venue picked out within three weeks. I found my dress two weeks ago. Then we booked the photographer. We are talking with DJ's this weekend. i found it easier to tackle one vendor at a time that way its not overwhelming. My plan is to have all the vendors booked by Thanksgiving.

Hi we are not ",officially engaged yet" but 11 plus years we booked almost everything for our 8 21 21 wedding..I'll get my ring when I get it..hes my person so a ring wont change anything

We started planning a week after our engagement, researched and booked the venue. We are planning a short engagement so knew we had to get the venue. Then we took a break and enjoyed being engaged. Now we are starting to plan all of the details.

We started planning shortly after being engaged since we had our ideas already (and a pinterest board too!). After we enjoyed the engagement for a few weeks, we started looking for venues and booked one two weeks after touring.
