I had posted this on another site before but loved reading all the stories so I thought I'd post here too For me, I was gushing to my roommates that I had met the man I’m going to marry the day after our first date lol We didn’t do anything special, he ended up taking me night fishing and a storm was rolling in perfectly over the water so we had a nice little light show. We were just listening to music on his phone and chatting waiting for bites when a slow song came on and we decided to dance. I know it sounds corny but I seriously get chills every time I think about that moment. As the storm got closer we decided to head back, which is when he learned of my irrational fear of storms while in a car. So as he saw me getting freaked out we stopped at a Walmart and just goofed off in there like teenagers until it passed. I had felt like I had known him my whole life and we’ve been inseparable ever since What about you guys? When did you know you wanted to spend forever with your SO?

As for FH, he was the first guy I dated after leaving my exhusband. I wasnt ready to date and we lost touch but I always remembered him and I think I knew he would end up being the one even back then. One night he was at the store and texted asking me if I needed anything and I joked back "just get me something pretty".... on our next date he showed up with a mirror. Awe man. MELT!! I kept that mirror in my nightstand and still had it three years later, and to this day.

We were camping with his friends. I was just meeting all of them for the first time, and they were so great and love him so much, it was such a good indicator. Between that and watching him set up camp - so capable!! I just knew I had finally found my perfect match. It was also the first time he said "I love you" and I said it back. We had been together about 2 months.

I just knew that he was so different than any other person I had ever dated. He treated me like a woman deserved to be treated. He has always been a gentleman with a sweet heart. He grew from a 19 year old eccentric boy to a strong, smart, loving, and super handsome man. (We met young). He has always made me feel like I am number one in his life and that for me was everything. He puts me first to everyone and everything. I think the fact that we always laugh and have so much fun when we are together is what made me fall head over heels in love for him. He always wanted to spend time with me and has always treated me like a princess. I think I knew after a year of dating, but I knew when I met him he was different than the rest.
