When do most leave for their honeymoon?

We are getting married Saturday and leaving for honeymoon on Tuesday because flights are cheaper mid week. Not as many options for flight times but if you are flexible you can save a few hundred bucks depending on where you are going.

The ceremony will end around five and we'll leave after I've made sure that everything is on task to be cleaned up by the people we hire to clean. We'll take some coffee with us to keep us awake and then stop in a hotel on our way to Florida.

I'm getting married on a Monday (DW) and then we will be at the rented beach house for the week with friends and fam. Then we will leave FL on Saturday, drive to ATL, stay the night there and fly out Sunday

I would wait a few days and then leave. Not a whole week unless there is something you have to do that week?

We still haven't decided when, but we might end up going the day after the wedding.

We're getting married on a Saturday at 5pm, there was no way I could leave out at 6am the next morning. So we're leaving Monday and will be gone a week. I'm taking off work Half day Thursday before wedding and will be gone the entire next week, then the following Monday& Tuesday.

We will be getting married on a Saturday and leaving on Sunday for our honeymoon. We will be gone from Sunday-Saturday, but that following weekend is Memorial Day Weekend so we won't have to go back to work until Tuesday. (:

I haven't heard of anyone else doing this, but our wedding is Saturday and we are actually leaving Tuesday for our honeymoon (to Mexico!!! Playa Del Carmen, I can't wait!). I am so glad, it will give us Sunday to get home (our wedding is one state away), do some laundry, pack, even go to the bank on Monday before we leave. I am sooo glad we are doing this, so I don't have to worry one little bit about the honeymoon now until after Saturday. We are lucky enough o be able to do this and still take off work Monday. I banked those vacation days all year!! We thought about waiting until maybe the holidays to go, but after just realizing how exhausting other wedding festivities have been, we decided we will need the vacation and have the money saved up, so we are GOING!!! lol

We will be leaving about 3 months after the wedding and taking a week off work.

I can't take time off during the school year, so we're waiting a month and going away around New Years.

Haven't booked flights yet, but we are getting married on a Saturday and planning on leaving Monday afternoon/evening. We are doing two weeks in Europe and I plan on taking off the Thursday and Friday before the wedding.
