When do you plan on having kids?

MLS, on January 9, 2021 at 7:55 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 1 21
When do you plan on having kids? Or maybe you don't want to have children at all! Whatever makes you and yours happy!

I want to be respectful and take into consideration the folks who are struggling to get pregnant.

I swore for awhile I wanted to wait until a year after we were married but we've been living together for over 3 years! So we've decided around the end of the year, after the wedding I'll have my iud removed. What about you? I really love WW. It makes me feel like I have a bunch of friends to talk to whenever!

We started dating in 2015 and just got married in October. I'm 33.

So we'll be trying this summer! Smiley star

We are getting married and are discussing about when to get my IUD out. We are planning on starting about 6 months after the wedding.

Congrats! That’s so exciting you and your partner have decided you’re ready to expand your family! I think it’s great you’re waiting until after the wedding, so you don’t have to worry about pregnancy interfering with anything. I, personally, don’t plan to have children. I always joke that they accidentally gave me a doggy mommy gene when I was made 😜 We definitely plan to expand our family after the wedding by getting my puppy a sibling! ❤️

Congrats! We discussed wanting to get pregnant after the wedding in September and well, we conceived that night lol so we didn’t waste any time! We have been together for 10 years, graduated from grad school with no debt, traveled the world, and we felt ready in all aspects 🙂

That’s a big NOPE for us! I have 4 kids, he has 1-from previous relationships- and they’re all out of the house. There’s no way I’d want to start all over again!

My husband and I had our son before we were married, & I wouldn't trade it for the world. We plan on conceiving another one probably towards the end of this year, hoping for a girl this time 🤞🏾

We would like to start trying within two years. I'm not a fan of hormonal birth control. We use protection instead.

We stopped trying to prevent it after dating a year.
Right at our 1 year anniversary we started really trying. 11 months in and it’s not as easy as we thought.

We’ve already been living together for 3 years, bought a condo at the beginning of 2020, and shortly after added our fur baby to the family. Wedding is planned for 01/27/22, but we’re planning on doing a honeymoon trip late May. We’re planning on stopping contraceptive around the time of that trip and see what happens. Hoping to have a baby sometime in 2023.

Hmm we are indecisive. We go back ans forth between having one child biologically then adopting a child, and between having no kids at all. Regardless, we are fine with either choice. Depends on our future.

I'm only 27 and will be 29 when we get married. We plan to focus on our careers, travel, and be married for a few years before we have kids. We agreed on early to mid 30s. We'll see if our parents are as patient until then 🙄

We're TTC now. I had a miscarriage over the summer, so it's been a little rough since then.

We're currently looking into getting a new place and we decided once we get solidified in our place, that we would start. Since we recently had to postpone our wedding next month, we're hoping we can get settled in our new place, still move forward with the wedding sometime this year and then start trying for kids. We'll just have to see how it pans out now.

We started trying right after we got married and I’m so glad we did because we ended up having severe fertility issues. Went through a ton of fertility treatments and a miscarriage, and now if all goes well I’ll be having our son a couple months after our 2 year wedding anniversary 🤞🏻🙏🏻

My fh and I have been together since we were 16. The two of us will be getting married this may and we will be only 23 at the time. He is graduating from undergrad this year and will be going on to grad school for this masters then go get his PhD. I want to wait until he is done with his masters so in about 2 years when I am 25.

But we are planning on expanding our family before then with another puppy. My fh rescued a husky shephard back in march 2015 and she is about 6/7 now. Since the day he adopted her she claimed me as her mommy, but it is time for her to become a big sister. Here is my baby: GhostWhen do you plan on having kids? 1

We've been trying for 9 months now. Under 30, no medical problems, so not sure why it's taking so long! My advice would be to try sooner rather than later because 1 in 8 couples have fertility issues and will never know it until they start trying.

I am a big time fence sitter. Ever since I was a kid I always said I never wanted children of my own. He knew this when we first got together and said he never really thought much about having children either. But IDK the last couple of years I went from hell no to children to maybe a "one and done." Fiance is cool either way, he said its up to me. lol But we'll see. I am 31 and will be 32 by the time we get hitched. I told him after the wedding then we really need to decide what we want and either start trying or not. I don't want to wait too long and put myself through a high risk pregnancy. I think either direction we go, we would be happy though. I really don't see myself regretting a decision either way.
