When do you take off your engagement ring? 💍

I'm late to the party, but I take my ring off when sleeping because a.) my fingers swell when I sleep b.) I'm scared the prongs will snag on sheets or blankets and loosen the setting.

I am a nurse so I don’t wear my engagement ring to work. It gets caught when putting gloves on and I worry it will fall off or get ruined with all the handwashing and hand sanitizer. I also don’t wear it to the gym. Wish I could wear it all the time

I take mine off to sleep, shower, swim, cook, clean, do yard work, exercise... or more honestly, I only put it on when leaving my house (unless I’m going somewhere to do any of those things listed above). It’s easier to keep track of it that way, and any time — ANY TIME — it isn’t on my finger, it’s in its box! I even carry the box with me in my purse sometimes in case I need to take it off for any reason. I baby that thing!

I have never been a big jewelry wearer prior to my ring. But now I hate to be without it, just feels naked without it on my finger!
The only times I take it off is at bedtime, when showering, cooking, and cleaning. Also sometimes when I’m at work I will wear it around my neck (I work stocking at Walmart so sometimes the boxes and constant moving around makes it difficult to have a ring on my finger)

I take mine off to shower, clean, and when I put on any lotions or hand sanitizers.

I take mine off when I’m cleaning, showering and Brushing my teeth and sleeping. I love the S tip from your jeweler.

oes anyone knows how often you’re supposed to get your ring professionally cleaned?

When I go to the gym (I lift a lot so I make sure my ring is off), and when I shower or wash my hands.

I have been taking mine off for everything, except sleeping. I guess I will start now.

I don't take it off that much. Before I got it sized I would take it off to shower, since we don't keep our drain stopper in. Now I just take it off when I do dishes or put hand lotion on.

I wear it sleeping, my fiance sometimes likes to hold my hand as we sleep and i can feel him sometimes play with it.

I take it off when I'm washing up, showering/bathing or when I'm using harsh chemicals as my gem is 'soft' and things like that can make the colour wear off / down.
Never take it off whilst cooking.

I take mine off in the shower, going to bed, getting ready (lotion/perfume/ make-up), gym, swimming, amusement park, cooking (depends). I don’t really take it off when washing my hands specially in public places since I’m scared to lose it 😬

I never do!! I think the only time I will is when I use the jewelry cleaner!

I take my ring off for cooking, exercising, hiking, showering, sleeping, dishes, and anything that may involve my hands getting dirty!

I feel so weird keeping it on to do dishes, go to the gym, etc. I feel like its too nice for that stuff! But I always put it in its box so I know exactly where I put it.
