When is Royal Blue in season for colors?

Amanda, on May 19, 2018 at 12:52 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8
I'm getting married next year in July(approximately) and am getting a head start on ideas for my budget(ish) wedding. I'm struggling to find places that I can physically see the flowers I'm wanting to buy for all of my floral arrangements. Both my fiance and I are low maintenance so we aren't wanting a lot of decor, but I would like to make it special, as it's our wedding. I'm needing faux flowers due to the fact that I have fairly bad allergies and I would prefer not sniffling and sneezing from them. Does anyone know what season royal blue is prevalent in? All I'm seeing is aqua and turquoise around my area at the moment so I assume this isn't the best season. I'm wanting to diy most of my centerpieces and decor, so if anyone has any suggestions as well, I would greatly appreciate it. Honestly, I'm overwhelming myself with predicted expectations of our guests, as we both have large families. So any help would be fantastic. I'm just a huge worrier haha

I'm also having royal blue as one of my colours, also will have burgundy and silver. For ideas I have looked on Pinterest and found most of my decor on Amazon. I dont know if there is a particular time of the year that this colour is more prominent. I havent noticed a lack of the colour in stores because it has been easier for me to do the online shoppibg options where you are not so limited in seasonal options.

Honestly, I didn't limit myself to a season to get married when I picked my colors. I chose them because I like them. My colors are blue, green, purple and gold like jewel tones.

Royal blue is in season from January 1 until December 31. Colors don't have seasons. Use what you want when you want. Trying to find royal blue flowers, even silks, will be hard because there are very few flowers that are actually blue, especially in such an intense shade. You might be better off using flowers in neutral colors and/or your secondary and tertiary colors. Use the royal for ribbons and other elements

I'd imagine you'd find them in store close to Independence day!

We're having real flowers in October, and royal blue will be included in them. So they might be in stores then? But stop in to your local Michael's or Hobby Lobby or wherever you plan to purchase from and they should be able to tell you when they will stock them, or maybe even special order for you.
