When should i give my bridesmaids their gifts?

Alex, on February 4, 2023 at 11:27 AM Posted in Planning 0 7
I got my bridesmaids each a personalized tote, personalized clutch, robe, earrings and hair piece.

Since the clutch can be used for going out, should I give it to them on the bachelorette?

Those gifts typically are given day of the wedding or maybe the night before after the rehearsal.

Traditionally bridesmaid/groomsman gifts are given at the rehearsal dinner. However if your bachelorette is after the rehearsal dinner, they run the risk of misplacing them.

I would give them at the rehearsal personally unless it is part of the whole bachelorette costume, but typically the MOH/bridesmaids usually are in charge of bachelorette costumes since they host the party.

For my first wedding we gave bridal party gifts the morning of the wedding before getting ready.

Traditionally gifts are given at the rehearsal or during a private moment the evening before or day of the wedding. But you do you, give the gifts whenever you want! Sounds like you got your bridal party some lovely gifts!

I gave mine out the evening before after our rehearsal dinner. We were all meeting up at a hotel, so that way they could wear the getting ready stuff there rather than having to change, figure out what to do with a spare outfit, etc.

I'm giving thank you gifts at the rehearsal dinner, but anything to be used the day-of, I'm setting out the morning of the wedding for them to gather when we're getting ready so they don't forget anything (this includes robes, clutches they're carrying instead of bouquets, earrings, tissues, etc.)
