Mine is being done the weekend before. I think that doing it right before the wedding makes it so peoples heads are still foggy and not on the wedding.

I definitely wouldn't have a bachelorette a day or two before the wedding. You'll be busy and well, hangover potential. I'd schedule when the majority of the people you really want there can attend.

I honestly think it should be done about 3-4 weeks before. As the wedding gets closer last minute things pop up leaving less time to complete the items you need to.

Usually people do it within a couple months before the wedding. A day or two before the wedding would be a no go for me. First of all, my hangovers aren't what they were when I was 21. I need more than a day to fully recover lol. I would say the weekend before at the very latest.

I had mine on the Thursday night before our Saturday wedding. It was definitely hectic, because I basically had to be 100% ready for the wedding by Thursday morning. I was also a little overwhelmed by the day of the wedding, as I am more introverted and it was a lot of activity crammed into a few days -- but I think I could have solved this by staying in a hotel room alone the night before the wedding instead of with my friends. However, it did allow me to relax and enjoy the two days leading up to the wedding with all of my friends instead of running around doing last minute errands. I had bridesmaids/friends spread out across 5+ states and 2 countries, so having people fly in twice wasn't an option. Overall, it worked out great and was totally worth it to have all of my best friends there with me.

My bachelorette is two months before the wedding. But FH’s bachelor party is only 2 days before because 2 of his groomsmen live 14 hours away and can’t afford to travel twice.

I’ve been in a wedding where we did the party the night before the rehearsal, and where we’ve gone like 5 months before the wedding. The one the night before the rehearsal felt a bit rushed and the one 5 months out felt sooooo early, but it worked with almost everyone’s schedules. I say a month or two out is a perfect middle ground where you can enjoy your bach and girls!

My wedding is January 19th but my party is scheduled for August 9th. Reason being I start my second year of grad school August 20th so it has to be done before that.

Usually the day before is the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. I would do it the week before or further out. You will need the week of the wedding to make sure everthing is ready.

It depends on what exactly she has planned for you to do.. I’m getting married Sep 8 but having mines July 20 just because we’re going outta town, my fiancé is going on his May 18 which I think is wayyy too early but that’s what date worked for all of them plus they’re actually flying out. It really just depends on what is being done, if you’re going out for the night or traveling.

Mine will be in June and my wedding isn't until September. That was the best time that worked out for everyone.

Because we pushed our date back, my bach party wound up being almost a year beforehand! Oops!
