when to change into second wedding dress?

A bit of a wedding planning mode today... So, I just bought my 2nd dress online since Saks is having a sale... it's strapless, gold and mermaid, my 1st one is blush and poofy and cap sleeve. When should I change into 2nd wedding dress? I am thinking after cake cutting before the garter and bouquet...

So, I just bought my 2nd dress online since Saks is having a sale... it's strapless, gold and mermaid,

my 1st one is blush and poofy and cap sleeve.

When should I change into 2nd wedding dress? I am thinking after cake cutting before the garter and bouquet toss????

    I would wait until after the special first/spotlight dances but before the dancing starts!

    I changed into my second dress after the cocktail hour, so when we were announced, I was in my reception dress. I loved my reception dress more than I loved my ceremony dress, so I wanted to wear it for most of the reception. They were very similar.

    We will be taking pics right after the ceremony while the guests are at the cocktail hour. After pics are done I will change into my second dress for the reception activities.
