When to send invites?

How far in advance did everyone send their invites? My wedding is in June and I just want to make sure every one has the time to RSVP and plan what they need to plan

I sent mine out the second week of February for my June 13 wedding. Rule of thumb is usually 3 months before the wedding. Depending on your venue, you usually want to give them a final count about 2 weeks prior to your date and you want to account for those people who you may have to chase down for a response. Also keep in mind that a pretty accurate count of responses will be needed for your table arrangements, something you wont want to wait until the last minute to do. The sooner you get your responses the quicker you can check another task off your list.

I am getting married 6/06 - I am sending invites out 3/14. That way, guests have roughly 6-7 weeks to make arrangements/return RSVPs. We requested our RSVPs be back by May 1st to give ourselves some time to track down any unaccounted for RSVPs before final counts are due to our vendor/venue (May 6th). Also take into consideration if you will need time to order favors after getting your final count!

My wedding is in June, I already sent mine out in February. I have lots of family outside the state that the venue is in, thought it would be better for my guests to plan with flights, hotel booking and car renting. I also put on my RSVP to respond by April 30th, that would allow time for any lost RSVP's.

My wedding is in June also, and I'm thinking about sending mine at the beginning of April. I'm going to do this because I, personally, take forever to RSVP for anything, regardless if I know right away if I'm going or not. Since sometimes life gets in the way, I want to send them with time.

Ours is June 20th. I’m sending mine out on April 13th and they have until May 20th to RSVP so one month before the wedding. My final head count is due 10 days before my wedding, but i wanted plenty of time to track down any guests who haven’t RSVPd. We also made the RSVP link open on our wedding website when we sent out save the dates and people have already begun RSVPing.
