When you diy how do you make sure it is cleaned up afterwards?

Hi ladies,
I have been at a loss for direction when going the DIY path. I have a florist and an event decorator but the small in between details I would love to do myself... because who wants to pay for these fun DIY projects?! My question is... for things like, decor on the chairs that line the ceremony walk way, maybe 8-10 chairs total, or the added center piece details, the seating charts using wine bottles. Just little details like this, who or how do you make sure it is cleaned up by the end of the night on your wedding night when you may or may not be consumed by having such a good time as a bride you may forget to grab something at the end of the night? Is there a mystical creature that can do this? Or do I have to make a reminder on my phone to STOP having fun and make my rounds to collect all my DIY pieces? Lol this is so weird to ask but something I have been worried about. I am having my wedding at a venue that requires everything to be cleaned up by the end of the night. No chance to visit the next day... thanks for anyone who can offer ideas or insight. It's such a simple weird questions but something I am so confused about how other brides do it?

I suggest hiring a day-of or month-of coordinator. They will usually help take care of those kinds of things. Ours was wonderful. She help set up the parts of our reception that were DIY, made sure vendors delivered things as planned, and helped tear down at the end of the night. I suggest using WeddingWire and The Knot to search the “Planners” section and check off “Day Of Coordination” in the filters. For reference, my wedding was in Houston, TX and we were able to hire ours for $800. She helped a lot and it made sure my parents and family didn’t have to do much on the day of.

A full service caterer would prob do this. If not, I would absolutely hire a professional clean up crew. You don't want to be pulling flowers off chairs after your big day

Most people hire someone to do this.

In our circle, family does this for you. Which sucks horribly, and would not recommend doing this to your loved ones. Talk to your DOC, caterer, or decorator and see if they offer a service!

Thank you for your insights! I have a day of coordinator I just didn't know if this was something they would do. I will talk to her and ask if this is something she will help with. Thank you!

You should definitely organise somebody paid to do this for you. At the end of a long day on your feet and after a few drinks neither you/your husband/your friends/family are gonna want to be tidying up.

I guess some venues may be able to do it for you, for a price? I think my venue would have been up for it if needed
